Thanks for hosting as usual chris, and huge props and thanks to Zex and Zedd for flying up, GC's are just gonna be normal again without all the hype. They made things so exciting and Zex is amazing at brawl.

I was really proud of Bladewise for finding a way to stick with it in doubles when we were down 0-2 in the final set to Zex and Nerd. We won on our CP then he found a way to not get gimped and owned with 3 MK's on the field and a Marth on rainbow two games in a row, I know how hard that is so I'm glad he found a way!

I was super proud of myself in singles, and for people who were there, it should be obvious why.. haha. Everyone I played in singles was scary good. I was a little bummed when Zex's Snake 2-0'd me in my first set of pro bracket, once again being the first seed gave me the hardest bracket out of anyone because of what happened.. urgh! But Zex is too dang good. Well, except maybe t0mmy's bracket. He got 9th and lost to me and felix, so that's a bit unfortunate too cause I know how good he is but seemed tired when we played, so I didnt beat him at his best.

I told myself though that if I were to find a way to win singles after going to losers bracket before pretty much everyone, that it would be my best tournament singles-wise.. and im still shocked that it happened. it wouldnt have happened though without the support of friends to be honest. Zerostar mobbing me after I won pretty much summarized how I felt about the tournament, and his support of me + bladewise in doubles was just awesome.

I didn't beat everyone at their best though. Zex had a couple silly suicides when we played, so if I ever play him in singles again I'll have to be ready because I know that wasn't Zexy Zex at 100%. I don't know if Felix was at 100%, i heard people saying "Now THAT's MLG FELIX" but him and I play so much its crazy. I was proud of Felix for taking out Zex too, he did very good!!!

I think what I also loved about this tournament, was the hype Zex and Zedd brought. It's a bit sad to think now GC's will go back to regular. No regional pride, people not watching grand finals, people not screaming anymore. Zedd was so enthusiastic for Zex, even if a bit sarcastic, was a thing to see. That's how other games tournaments ALWAYS ARE. And I would love to have that feeling of hype and excitement build up every GC, but I know that doesn't happen without other regions here.

I was starting to get mentally worn out towards the end of singles because I had to play everyone good in losers bracket, and it was starting to hit 1 AM. I was glad I was able to will through some tough games vs Felix. I was just trying to force myself to keep the energy and win-hungry feeling going. GG's everyone I played, thanks EVERYONE who supported me, and thanks everyone who showed up!!!

EDIT: What now? I'm not sure. I always strive to be the best (inb4 lol pokemon song) and I still know I'm not regarded Nationally as a player who can do good at one, but I honestly don't know what I want to do. I was thinking about Whobo, but again I'm not sure. At this point I'm not sure if I want to go to Genesis 2 either. Well, I want to go, but don't really want to spend money to go is the truth. Especially if I do bad. I know experience is worth a lot of things, but I have National experience and haven't done well yet. So who knowssss !
