Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch R2
1/10

If you think this was good, you are able to be spoon-fed feces by writers and think it's good. Go watch Lucky Star and Mars of Destruction, give them 10's, and kill yourself please.

Explain this stuff and rating it well can be excusable:

-Nunnally surviving
-Guilford surviving
-Charles' ridiculous shift in character
-Lelouch's mom lol wtf
-Anything about V.V. at all
-What happened with Charles dying in that weird place...or really anything about that crap at all
-Cornelia being peppered with bullets and suffering only minor injuries
-Suzaku suddenly becoming loyal to the man who killed his lover and lied to him
-Schneizel randomly becoming genocidal
-Anything Jeremiah did at all for the entire series
-How they let Lelouch troll them into exiling thousands of Zeros
-Lelouch killing millions of people but having a guilt crisis over a kiss
-Rolo going from heartless assassin to devoted slaved for his target based on almost nothing
-Lelouch trolling the entire planet into thinking he was the emperor
-The ending LOL

I am most likely forgetting more stupid crap the writers did to troll everyone. Anyone remember anything else?

My new reason for hating humanity is this show's score on myanimelist.net, along with how many people favorited a crappy character like Lelouch.

Naruto is pretty much the one shounen I will never watch. I will get to One Piece eventually and alreasy got the rest down.

I saw PPGZ on your list and it made me realize i never finished watching it. I think i'll go do that now.
Inui wrote at 2:41 AM on Nov 20, 2011 :
Eh, that show was average. Powerpuff girls turned into a mediocre mahou shoujo anime. Mojo Jojo being a very major character and Him being more extreme (same voice as Japanese Frieza I'm pretty sure lol) was cool, though.

Much like CG i'd say the second season left alot of plot holes and really didn't make sense at alot of points. Course i could just be bias cause I grew up watching Naruto on toonami *after DBZ of course*. Still though i liked some of the main storyline like Itachi's secrets and Jiriya's fight with Pain. But looking at it now it's really gone downhill in a sense.

Most shounens start good but turn into crap. Apparently one piece is some big exception.
Eternal Mangekyo Zebra wrote at 2:45 AM on Nov 20, 2011 :
Really? I haven't watched one piece in a A LONG time and i thought since it was still going i thought it turned into another "milking the cash cow show" like *cough* Bleach *cough*.
Awesomeguy1 wrote at 2:45 AM on Nov 20, 2011 :
Btw how come Eureka 7 isn't on your list at all? If you haven't seen it yet you should go watch it, it's a really good show. One of my top favorite animes.

I still watch Bleach, and rate it a 10 on MAL to troll people (imo it's actually an 8), but only because I've been at it for 5 years and like the setting. I hear One Piece supposedly never turned into trash at any point, while the same can't be said for any big shounens, including the legendary ones like DB and DBZ...
Faketime wrote at 2:47 AM on Nov 20, 2011 :
-Nunnally surviving what...? Falling out of a chair?

-Gilford surviving I'll give you. Isn't even explained how the hell that happened, overall minor to the plot anyway.

-What character shift? Or did you miss the whole theme of characters masking their true intentions?

-Show explained the mom...she had a geass that let her transfer her consciousness to other people and she transferred to Anya.

-Your statement about V.V. is too vague to respond to.

-Charles died in the world of C, a different dimension accessible from the thought elevators. The elevators were scattered around the world and were the motivation behind Britannia's invasions. Charles needed access to all the elevators to use the Sword of Akasha. Charles found that by using the Sword of Akasha he could destroy the "gods." Lelouch casts a Geass on the "gods" and because Charles' plan would disrupt Lelouch's order on the "gods" he is destroyed.

- Cornelia is the same story as Gilfourd, not overly explained or important.

-Suzaku is a complicated person. He evidently valued setting the world right above his personal feelings. He does appear angry and unforgiving at first when he meets Lelouch face to face but he sees that Lelouch has the ability to end the conflict and ultimately helps him do so.

- Schneizel didn't "randomly become genocidal." In face saying genocide is incorrect because it implies one specific group. He wanted to force people to lay down their arms through fear. Sorta like the end of Watchmen, sacrifice millions for peace was the idea. He had been planning this so it's wrong to call it "random" too. You really didn't keep up with the whole idea of "everyone wearing a mask" too well. The episode when he reveals this plan is legit called "Schneizel's Mask."

-Jeremiah comment is also too vague to respond to but I'll try anyway. CAUSE HE'S A KICKASS CYBORG. /duh

-The thousand zeros thing, real world probably would end in them all dying. Buuuut he knew Suzaku would be in charge and read his character correctly a

I think I tried to watch Eureka 7 on cartoon network before...and fell asleep. You sure id like it?
Inui wrote at 2:50 AM on Nov 20, 2011 :
Nunnally was in that fleija nuke ****, man... and you clearly didn't know what I meant about Lelouch's mom, Jeremiah, and some other stuff, but good try on the other stuff I guess
Awesomeguy1 wrote at 2:53 AM on Nov 20, 2011 :
I haven't seen it in a long time, but you will once the story really get going. It's something you should really watch and it wouldn't hurt to give it another try.
Inui wrote at 2:53 AM on Nov 20, 2011 :
Btw, the "everyone had a mask" theme was an excuse the writers used to make characters suddenly perform bull**** acts just to surprise people. That's half the problem with the show. The plot holes and impossibilities being the rest.
Faketime wrote at 2:55 AM on Nov 20, 2011 :
-He had no guilt crisis over it. He had a need to keep his status quo at the school for tactical reasons. He did value his relationship with her though. You should try to separate Lelouch as a person from Lelouch as the hero/anti hero Zero. showisaboutmasks.jpeg

-Rolo just wanted some love.

-Trolling the entire world? Geass power? Refer to episode one?

-And I agree the ending was lolz, just cause I thought it was funny to watch Nunnally crawling around n' stuff. ^.^
Inui wrote at 2:57 AM on Nov 20, 2011 :
He def trolled the world lol... he didn't use geass on everyone cuz he couldnt

I applaud your efforts to explain some stuff, but the situations and actions are just...not realistic at all
Phil Nye the SCIENCE Guy wrote at 2:58 AM on Nov 20, 2011 :
I second the notion, Eureka Seven was really enjoyable to me, great pop culture references (some of them are surprising), some interesting characters, and I personally liked the art style (not everyone does of course)

I thought you meant at the end. It's explained that Schneizel saved her by putting her on a different ship and letting a decoy be exploded. And how the hell could I know what you meant about his mom? You just mentioned "Lelouch's mom" without eluding to what your issue with her is. Anything else? Yes no?
Inui wrote at 3:02 AM on Nov 20, 2011 :
Lelouch's mom was retarded. Her even being brought in was dumb, and Jeremiah was dumb.

I told you you've only got one or two minor plot wholes there that don't really impact the overall story. And just cause you don't like the theme doesn't really make it any less legitimate.
Faketime wrote at 3:08 AM on Nov 20, 2011 :
And Inui's argument for code geass being a bad show is down to Lelouch's mom is dumb and Jeremiah was dumb.

I rest my case. lol

once they had the little kid come in his "brother" or w/e **** just got weak. lame mecha/mindfk hybrid anime lol

I liked everything but the end. and Rolo dying was so lame and the fact that my favorite character died (for like the kagillion'th time in anime) made me wanna stop watching. (And I'm talking about Shirley)

My opinion isn't the same as yours. I guess I deserve to die then.
Inui wrote at 9:57 AM on Nov 20, 2011 :
@Faketime: No. Your explanations are far from perfect. Sure, you can come up with explanations (which arenot really included in the show from what I and others noticed), but that doesn't make the ideas or writing good.

@LEGOF: The show being being a trainwreck isn't really a matter of opinion.

I began watching One Piece last summer and got really bored watching the saga with the numbered bad guys (episodes 50 through 70?) so I stopped watching. I know the show gets much better but that one saga was a big piece of ****.

I know Bleach is kinda lol with its plot and non-attachable characters but I love the suspense, twists, animation, and music of it.

Naruto got boring as hell in Shippuden. A bunch of talking all the time and most fights aren't even interesting anymore. Danzo vs Sasuke was dumb. 8 tails vs Sharkman was boring. Kakashi/Sakura vs Sasuke was even boring with talking and such. I just don't find Naruto interesting anymore.

Hajime no Ippo is probably the best Shounen out there by far. No filler, fights are amazing, them on the beach I swear is just as amazing lol, and somehow the boxing never gets old. Some fights are *** (Ippo vs Geromichi, Ippo vs under the sea guy *manga*) but at least 75% are beautiful.
Inui wrote at 1:28 PM on Nov 20, 2011 :
Oh. I need to get on Ippo eventually.

I hope you know that fillers are made so that the manga writers aren't rushed and have more time to finish their shizz. Besides that you can just as easily skip fillers. They may suck but most of the time they have a purpose. You should watch Deidara vs Sasuke one my personal fav fights only beside Killer Bee vs Taka. I've always wondered why they didn't use the animation they did for those fights for important fights like naruto vs Pain or sasuke vs Itachi *though sasuke vs itachi was still a good fight.

The series isn't perfect but it still has some charm to it for me.

If I ever watch Naruto, it will be due to Killer Bee, though sadly I hear he shows up so late...
