Just got back from another get-together. (AiB Version)
http://www.yelp.com/biz/momo2-columbus

I've heard of a Smashfest going on each Wednesday there. I learned this sometime around the date of the Vengeance tourney I went to, but I couldn't find the time to get into it until now.

Unfortunately, Smash-wise, Brawl wasn't that common by the time I showed up. Melee wasn't even played anywhere. Project M was there, though, but I didn't stay long enough to play others on it.

There was also someone playing through Super Mario 64. Looked like a speedrun. Besides those games, I also saw UMvC3, KoFXIII, and a little bit of SSFIV: AE before I left.

I prepared for such a case by bringing a PS3 controller. I didn't have much guilt over it, even though there were more 360s, and even with the PS3s that were there, everyone else used an arcade stick. I don't care for console wars that much, but I'd be better off if I owned a 360 alongside a PS3 and Wii. That has to be the best option out of everything else right now.

I also had a feeling that UMvC3 would be the main non-Nintendo game that was there, so I brought my own copy for backup. Overall I got in a few Brawl and UMvC3 matches.

While I was there, nothing competitive was really going on. Just a time with some old friends and new friends. It was all still enjoyable to me.

I made both an AiB and AiF version of this blog for a test for responses.
