Did you guys enjoy my controller raffles I did for Zenith 2012 and CoT6? They turned out to be a big hit, and everyone enjoyed it. I raffled off two brand new GameCube controllers, one at each event. They were a brand new in box, half purple half clear controller. They were very rare controllers, originally sold and had to be imported from Europe. I'm confirming now that I will be doing another set of controller raffles - this time for SKTAR
and WHOBO 4
I won't be using the same half purple half clear controllers as last time, I've upgraded a bit. I got my hands on some new in box White controllers straight from Japan! These are arguably the best GameCube controllers ever made. Nintendo produced them later on after the Wii was released. The controllers have a white finish to match the Wii, and have an extended cord, useful if you are sitting far away from the TV. The matte white finish is very comfortable on the hands, better than the smooth finish on controllers like the Black one in my opinion. I have been using White GameCube controllers for Smash ever since they launched a few years ago, but they are getting extremely rare to find since they are out of print
This is your chance to score one on the cheap. I'll be doing the raffle the same way, donate $1 or more to enter the raffle
for the controller. Every dollar gets you another entry, so $1 = 1 entry, $5 = 5 entries, $37 = 37 entries, etc. Then everyone gets tossed into a hat and the winner is picked. The more entries you get means the greater chance you have to win. I will have the information up on how to enter during the live streams for SKTAR and WHOBO 4. Anyone at the venue in person will also be able to enter with cash.
The controllers will also be autographed by all of the pro players
I can get to do so at the venue.
