Who the hell isn't scared of a bat or hammer in the hands of someone with intent to use it for "self-defense" or anything else? I don't think anyone said they weren't, it's just much harder for you to get away with bringing one to a tournament.

The hell are you bringing up blocking for? This isn't a video game, man. If an unarmed person (pretty much all of us except you) tries to "block" against your knife, however small it is, it's gonna hurt like a mother****er. You bringing other weapons into this discussion is moot because NOBODY IS GOING TO BRING THEM TO A TOURNAMENT. Lethal weapons should not be allowed in tournament venues, and you're making ridiculous excuses for yourself.

Watch Higurashi, and you'll be scared of a bat. Or, you wanna have a friendly duel where you get a tiny knife and I get just an average sized stick? Reach and weight are a lot more dangerous. None of you no anything at all about weapons or combat, which I guess is a good thing because the world is generally safe, but you're still really naive. A knife causes a knee-jerk fear reaction. I see a hammer in my room right now that's three times longer than my usual knife; that's more dangerous, and it's just a hammer. It has more reach, would instantly make you unconscious, and can't be blocked by a small knife. But it doesn't cause a knee-jerk "OMG I'M SCARED" reaction. I'd much rather have that hammer in a confrontation than a tiny knife.

Tiny knife or not, it pierces through flesh. I don't **** with that since it could potentially damage an important organ=death. LOL I wouldn't be scarred of something larger, at worst I'll just get beat up, I could get beat to death but that's way too unlikely however a knife tho? I might die.

I'd be a lot more scared of something that's way larger with a longer reach that's a lot more effective, lol. I'm not scared of a tiny knife. Everyone is a little girl.
