Diddy may be a hard character to overcome for yourself but the talented American players are getting to know the matchup and Diddy is not one of the top threats anymore. Matchups were taken from smashboards btw and in no way do they show diddy is a counter to any high tier. 70:30 matchup is a counter not 45:55, that's a disadvantage.

Also, what you see is what you see but that doesn't mean what you are seeing is the best that you can see.

Diddy isn't beasting anymore and he doesn't "counter" any high tier. He may go even or have a small advantage with higher tiers but the lack of meta-game advancement recently suggests diddy will go down in the next tier list. It's the same case with snake, many people know the matchup and I must say it's taken a long time. The sole fact it's taken so long for people to learn the matchup and deal with him shows, as a character and with his potential, he is better than diddy. People may know the snake matchup finally now but Diddy isn't getting much advancement lately either also Falco is making much advancement which should give him the number 2 spot, snake 3'rd, and maybe diddy 4'th or Wario/Marth at 4'th since IC's will probably drop a tad. Though as a character and with his potential diddy should be at spot number 4 imo.
