What's so bad about Wiimote?
Quote (originally posted by dniMretsaM):
1.Harder to grab
2.No c-stick (bad for a lot of reasons)
3.Shielding is harder
4.Really hard to Utilt
5.Not very comfortable

Go with a GC controller.

if you are talking about the wiichuck, then you are terribly wrong.
c-stick is BETTER
shielding has a BETTER button
utilt sucks but is still doable if you just tilt the controll stick instead of mashing it
if its comfortable is a personal opinion

if you were talking about the wiimote alone, then i dont undestand why you even have to make arguments about how bad it is...

trouble with pit.

all these peoples responses are funny.

- if you haven't practiced/mastered ps'ing, the best option for you is to mix jumping and crouching change your approach to something less predictable or just side step/hold shield.

- fsmash spam isn't a noob tactic one bit, for 1 it comes out fast, 2 it has good kill power and 3 it pushes most characters back far enough they cant punish it with a shield grab..

I always powershield both hits.. but if u cant just block then dtilt after that has enough range to hit.. or block 1st then throw a banana.. I could help u more if i knew what lvl the pit your fighting against but i dont lmk if you need any other advice on combos or matchups.

lols, just shield his fsmash and throw a banana or shieldgrab after the first hit, its really not that difficult, besides, if the pit ONLY uses fsmash, then you must be really bad to not rape him

What's so bad about Wiimote?
the single problem i have with wiichuck is that you have to have tap jump on, for the rest it is actually EASIER to use the D-pad cause the D-pad is actually BETTER than the GC's C-stick

rant about me all you want, but with the D-pad you cannot accidentaly input the wrong (aerial or so) but with the c-stick you can do a dair while aiming for a uair (because you have to circle your thumb around the c-stick before flicking it which also takes more time)

with the wiichuck, i can hold my thumb on A and the D-pad while jumping
and why did someone in the first 5 post say that it is hard to shield with the wiichuck?
the button is SMALLER, does NOT have a spring, is ALWAYS accessible because you dont need that finger for anything else

seriously, the wiichuck is fine, but i dont understand why you're even discussing the viability of the wiimote alone. no explanation needed...
