For me, Yoshi is my 4th best character. I started using him way back on Super Smash Bros. for the N64. Link, 2nd best character, and Kirby, 3rd best character, I picked up in Melee. Toon Link, best character, I picked up in Brawl. Even though most of them are low on the tier list, they're fun to play with.

And besides, who cannot agree that Yoshi and Kirby are super cute?

I main pikachu because he has always been a favorite pokemon of mine and i used him in all the smash gamez :3

i switched mains a bit but im with pikachu. i use pikachu because hella fun to play amazing playstyle awsome moves fan of the series pikachu is my main because hes everything

I main Zelda because she mad hawt.

I hope that she will distract my opponents during tournaments with her bangin' looks.

I main Samus because she is fun to use and i like using low tier characters a lot

I main Wario because He is fun to use, I love him in the Mario series and I think you have to be smart to play a successful Wario(Which I'm not yet lol)

I no main because it's more fun to play a variety but I like to be able to counter pick people and pick random if they are trying to counter pick me.

I chose 2 mains.
1.Marth because I love his Nair, Dancing Blade,Dolphin Slash escape options and overall speed and recovery.
2.Ike because I love punishing with F-Tilt and and his speed can be played off of to appear faster than he actually is, that and his Jab cancel is awesome.

Competitively, I suppose I like Falcon for his combination of agility and punishing ability. He's garbage, but he fits me.

I chooses pit because i like agile characters, so it kinda works that i second sheik.
Now, when i really started play melee i used link and of course i could not use him in brawl(he could be so much more) so then i was just looking for characters that i just felt right playing. When i first played pit in a real online brawl i found i had a talent. So like after like half a year i find this web site so like normal I played as pit and killed the free play players then i got into ladders and I sucked. Did not win once last summer. So i took a VERY long break and looked into other characters. Since i liked playing off stage I used the best jumper, sheik she fit how i am in real life, agile, so i could just conform to her play style easy.playing as her improved my pit so now i come into the fall ladder 1-4. my only win was aginst a guy who was 1-40 VERY LONG

GM for bacon mind games

Mario, He's a bozz, pretty fast, Has a solid Fsmash (good for finshing the job), has a solid aerial game, And the coolest meteor smash of the game

This is mario in brawl.

Lucas. I like spammy projectiles. He is also pretty good at finishing the job.

I main Sonic competitively because...

1. he's a difficult character to use competitively
2. he's got good ground speed
3. he's got a decent grab game
4. he's got an amazing recovery
5. he's pretty good at gimping
6. he combos really well
7. he's amazing at punishing
8. he's got quite a bit of mindgame potential
9. he's got a good amount of techniques that I feel make him capable of more variety then many other characters
10. He is Sonic the Hedgehog, who's games I've loved since I first played them as a child.
11. he's very good at adapting to various stages.

Edit: btw, in no way is he the perfect character, even with so much going for him, he's of course more vulnerable to tripping because you rely so much on your running speed, he's also got mediocre/bad KO ability and all of his KO moves have noticeable start-up time so generally the only time you can really expect to net a KO is by mindgaming or punishing lag, he's also got poor aerial mobility compared to his ground mobility.

Ganon because if I hit, I know the job is done.

I used Olimar since the beginning of brawl, started competitively a a year and a half ago.. I like his grab range and his superiority that everyone ignored until Brood came. I use Game and watch because of his good air moves.

Aah who am I kidding I like to tick people off with grabs and nine hammers.

hmm.. i use kirby because i think its NICE..? idk i just chose him.
PLUS sometimes it gets annoying so ya and can also take the abilities from other characters and sometimes use it as an advantage
