12/21/2012 = Apocalypse? Sorry, but I'm not buying it. The scientists who started all this mess calculated all the events of the Mayan calendar into a timeline. Somehow, they came up with dates that stuck out more than the others on the Mayan clanedar. These dates were important dates in history. When the Mayan timeline ends, the date calculated for the end of the calendar was 12/21/2012.

What a load of bull. The likelihood of an ancient civilization predicting several major events to the date is EXTREMELY unlikely.

I think those stupid scientists noticed some symbol close to one date that was significant in history, and just paired that image to the date, stating that it was predicted by the Mayans. If this is so, then those same scientists could analyze the last symbol on that "magic calendar" and tell us what will happen on 12/21/2012.
