AiB Features Feedback Thread
Please post here for any suggestions, tips, and concerns regarding the the features on All is Brawl. This thread replaces
the old feedback threads on the following features: 

Forum Feedback:

All is Brawl uses a custom-made forum solution programmed entirely by our staff. It brings all the features you love about vBulletin and phpBB -- subscriptions, formatting code, quick replies, filters, searching, etc. -- and integrates very tightly with the rest of the site. 

Art Feedback:

The graphics staff at All is Brawl are always looking for thoughts on how to improve the art on the website. Comment if you have opinions or suggestions on badges, the banner, icons, etc.  

Social Networking Feedback:

All is Brawl is built around a social networking philosophy influenced by Facebook and MySpace. Everyone who registers on All is Brawl gets their own public profile and a host of social networking features to help them better connect with the rest of the Smash community. No more are you limited to a single line for "Location" or "Interests" like a simple forum community; tell us about your favorite games, what city state and country you live in, who your friends and rivals are, what tournaments you've attended and done well in, in what ways you've contributed to the site, what videos you've uploaded... and MUCH more!

Video Library Feedback:

The All is Brawl video library is a great new tool for organizing Smash videos much more effectively than Youtube's tagging system. The library lets you search and sort videos to find exactly what you're looking for: want to see Ken's Marth vs any Sheik? You got it! How about all combo videos featuring Captain Falcon? Also easy! Or any Home Run Contest with Link or Young Link? Too good. Anyone can add videos at any time, making it easy for the community to keep the library constantly updated.

Advertisements:

If there are any issues with advertisements hindering your experience on AiB, please report them in this thread with a screenshot and a link to the website the Ad leads to, if possible.

You're amazing, LadyMartel. And so are most of these features. The only exceptions is the ads, but with AdBlocker being free, there's no johns.

MSEXPUMA. The problem with that is there are songs with inappropriate words. And it'd be impossible to add a filter that blocks out all the inappropriate words.

This isn't myspace. But if people really want to hear a certain song when they go to your page couldn't you simply provide a youtube or equal link on your profile?

Alboarban: Bro, I know. But Neal says that you can have what ya want on your profile, just not bad things on your mini profile (avatar, fav. games, etc). And y'know, front page vids usually have a whole lotta f this and f that in it. So I mean come on, if it's okay to swear in vids, why can't it be okay for you to have a song with swear words on your profile?

Revenant: I understand what you're saying, but this is a social networking site as well as a gaming site, that's why I suggested it. And it's not what people wanna hear, it's what you want people to hear when they go to your profile.

Well, in any case, I just hope we get page extensions soon...I hate runnin outta room on my about me x_x

The banner is great, but there should be different themes for banners, for example, users should be able to switch the forum colors to green and brown, and switch the banner to characters with green and brown costumes (like Wario, Kirby, MK), and other stuff like that by going in Me>Edit Profile>Fun.

And can you also fix that 24-hours limit? Can't you change it to 12-20 hours instead?

But otherwise, I like AiB! But try to invite more Europan players, because I must play early on the mornings/late on the evenings to play DL...

Isn't it obvious that these are troll groups that bash brawl, and AIB is a smash community, so it's best for a community to have a more positive atmosphere. All of this «brawl sucks» bull**** dosen't belong here.

The YouTube group with giving all comments a thumbs down and all Brawl videos a one rating isn't really trolling.

And the Brawl coaster group is a group for people who hate brawl. <_< Doesn't mean it's trolling, and nothing says they can't bash brawl.

I say it's not really big of a deal.

Has anyone thought of making a mobile version of AiB? That way people can connect to the site and post in the forums wherever they are.

I don't know how that stuff works... but I'm just saying.

I'm actually going to bring this up with the site heads next time I talk to them.  I'd like to see something like this too
