Was just browsing around my settings and wanted to suggest something that really needs to be done imo.

On the contact info page, the show options are to no one, friends, or everyone. There needs to be extra options or a checkbox below it to disable your email address. Very few people want to share their email address, and it's also a security risk to have it linked right on the profile page as it can easily be picked up by spam bots, etc.

I wish to share my AIM screen name and such, but am unable to since I had to disable sharing it with anyone since I would rather not give out my email address. I tried to remove my email and have only aim and choose show everyone, but that isn't allowed.

imo there shouldn't even be an option to show your email to everyone, either friends only or no one. Then an option to show email or not to friends.

Two questions:

1. Does AiB have a mobile app? I think that would be really useful.
2. Is this the right thread to post this suggestion lolololol?

But yeah... If I could check in on AiB every once in a while for forums and matchmaking and stuff like that would be really awesome. I know you can just go to the website using the internet but an app would be much easier to navigate imo...

Neal has more than once stated that he likes the idea of an app or mobile version of the site, but from a practical angle it isn't really doable.

Oh really? Well I guess that's a shame... What if there was an app just for the competitive aspect like setting up ladder matches and tournaments, and viewing rankings and such? Would that be possible?

At this time I would have to say not to expect anything like that to appear. For now, you'll have to either use a computer or a mobile device whose internet browsing capabilities can function with the site effectively. Sorry.

No no it's fine... This is the features feedback thread I was just presenting an idea. I don't have a problem with using the site, but it would be cool to be able to use it when I'm not home

When did more badges giving out name colors become a thing, and what badges give what now? It's been too long, last time I was here it was assistant green, ladder blue, and mod badges only.

Why was the ssb64 ladder discontinued? Is it because no one was using it or for some other reason? There are still plenty of people who play ssb64 online via the project64k emulator and kaillera client. Right now the online ssb64 community uses a ladder done manually on another site and it's ok but obviously not as good at AIB's ladder.

If possible could you guys please bring this ladder back. It would be greatly appreciated by the ssb64 community.

I guess General Silliness was closed and probably for good reasons but all that did was cause the black hole to migrate to the off topic boards and choke any chance of activity. Serious threads like this http://allisbrawl.com/forum/topic.aspx?id=208789 will die and Off Topic will become the next GS.

Can't AiB reopen GS and enforce it to an acceptable point to keep other forums from being consumed?

To site moderators, if your not sure what to do you might want to take action and nip this in the bud.  Unless you want AiB to become a porn and hate form.  It's slipping to why GS was closed in the first place...
