Dots per inch dumb ****.

I'll be in action next week. I missed two days of school sick in bed, and a school of it's level is like missing a week or two of work at a normal school. Give me some time OK. I'll start this weekend, but I probably won't be able to do much until Tuesday. It'll be done around Wednesday-Friday. I got my 7 days covered.

dpi is like resolution on your monitor. The higher the numbers get, the sharper everything looks. The typical internet image is at about 72 dots per inch. It's sort of accepted as the lowest resolution you can have while still maintaining a reasonably clear image. We'll be using 100dpi because it's a better image quality but not super huge memory wise. The stuff you see printed in magazines is high resolution. AT LEAST 300 dpi, if not 600.

This is important because if someone sends in an image that's 6 inches high but it's at 72 dpi and someone else has 6 inches high at 150 dpi, they won't match up. The 150 dpi image will look much larger when placed next to the other. If you're using Photoshop, you can change these settings in the "Image" menu under "Image Size".
