I am glad to see this group start to take flight here. As such, I feel finding a responsible individual willing to take the reigns can pave the way for the future of the group. Ultimately, my mean stick figures do not really qualify me to be the leader here (which by the way, being so graphical incompetent myself leaves me really really impressed which some of things I see from the group and came across during initial applications). The group could just use someone that frequents the art district, really keeps up with everything and everyone, and can put their best foot forward in terms of brining new users in, handling group join requests, site projects and so on. 


So first and foremost I am looking for someone responsible and committed to being a leader. You would need to handle new applicants, keep people focused on current projects, manage this forum, frequent the site, meet with me over skype bi-weekly, and of course be an amazing contributing artist in your own right so others can look up to you.

Well maybe we should think twice before Rev. take this postion. The art district has enough problems already. I actually think we don't necessarily need someone that is good at art. We need a leader. Rev. might be the best choice I just think we should consider our options.

Remember how I have been trying to make all of those changed around the Art District? Pushing it forward. That's kinda what leaders do.

But sure we can consider our options, I don't mind.

Whatever happens (everyone), don't get bent out of shape over this. The thing that makes you a powerful member of this group is your skills, talent, and willingness to work. That's what people will respect you for. If you come up with a really good concept or design, and everybody is following your lead, who's really leading the project?

I'll still be around to give advice and help out. I may even be available for Skype chats once in a while, but only on a casual basis. Most of you don't want that extra responsibility anyways. You may think you want it, but do you really want to be handling applications for the OGT when you could be designing something? Re-read the OP and really digest if you want the position.

As designers, you're probably still learning which is fine. Keep coming up with ideas, getting them down on paper to see if they could work, and practicing.
