Keitaro, did you see the ugly ****ing mess of a stream that you allowed to happen at Ktar6. You should be embarrassed that your name is aligned to such terrible produced content.

As for ending on time, Ether and Doom handled the bracket, while I did commentary and dealt with making sure LB was happy. The tourney ran late because we ran a lot of everything on stream, so that people could see what's going on.

There's a very strong reason why our series has grown in strength in such a short amount of time. As for KTAR, don't forget, me and RJ ran most of it. I remember you leaving the venue for about 90 minutes to do something that should have been done the day before. Don't tell me about poor hosting guy; KTAR would have sunk if it weren't for RJ and me. And for the amount you paid us, I should have slept half the time. >_>

Let's just bring more setups... easier said than done obviously :(

We had as many simultaneous matches going as possible. We delayed some of the hyper matches to be played on stream. If you were a hype player, while waiting to play on stream, the rest of the tournament was progressing on the other setups.

Also, I agree that a mic would help, to ensure that everyone is hearing what they need to hear, when they need to hear it.

That was 1 KTAR DM. I did the majority of everything at the past 5. I had to leave the venue to pay the hotel where I got 40+ smashers housing or else my friend would get fired. I had no choice but luckily I had good hosts to help keep things in order while I was gone. There were 100+ people there so of course I would have died without help lol thats why I hired you guys! Also when I tried to get back to hosting you pushed me away 0_o so don't act like I was jerking off in a bathroom or something. You claimed you didn't need help multiple times while litterally pushing me away so I let you do what you had to do. In the future you'll be paid alot more though. Regardless I've done what you did at many tournaments for free. Hell, every other tournament I go to they ask me for help and I create brackets, call matches, etc and I don't even get a venue discount (except for Pane that one time, nice man he is)

As for stream, KTAR's stream was better than the average smash streams for sure with VG running it. Commentary wasn't as godly as Concentrate's though. I'll work on that in the future. I understand not everyone can come to the tourney but acting like stream is top priority is nonsense imo. People don't really give a ****, as long as they can see matches they are happy and with a decent commentator the stream will be loved. The godlike stream seems to give an incentive of (Can't wait to watch that Concentrate stream! I'll travel to Apex, KTAR, SIIS, but Concentrate, I'll sit home in Maryland, PA, MW, wherever and just watch the stream"

Its a simple fact that bigger numbers get people to travel. Instead of thinking people won't travel you should make efforts to get them to travel.

Btw, I tried to pay the hotel the night before but they told me it cost double of what my friend said and they told me to just come back the next day. When I did, they said pay it later tonight. Outta nowhere during the tourney my friend called saying I have to pay now or he'll get fired, which is why I had to leave momentarily.

Concentrate is a large local/small regional. Apex, KTAR and SiiS have enormous venues that cater to huge crowds--we have a LAN center intended for 60 or less. :/

Your logic is flawed. And I pushed you away because we had a system at that point. When everything was caught up, you could help. We had you call matches.

Well your stream is on SRK. I still don't see how stream numbers help more than getting people to actually show up to the tourney. And of course you helped during the other KTARs and I appreciate that alot. Tbh the reason I stressed needing help for the last one alot was because my TOs were often missing when I needed help the most for KTARs 4 and 5. You guys stepped up your game hard for the last one though, ya'll ain't even need me lol!!

Well, MLG barely ever caps their entrance for most games, yet they make millions. HMM, BET IT'S THE STREAM.

Oh, and how many people can sit in the Price is Right audience? And how many people watch it?

MLG is a completely different story. Can't even compare Apex to MLG and Apex has more hype and more players.

Well, we're trying to build this to that level. No use having an easily obtained goal like "Run an event with a sub par stream in a venue that loses power (no offense heavy, ilu) with maybe some top players."

My goal is to run the biggest smash tournament in existence. If I wanted to just do what I did last time I'd make KTAR 7. I'm slowly taking steps to work my way up but it will take years honestly. Strife got that head start, but id like to surpass him eventually.

If you knew the amount of work we put into Apex, you'd likely stop hosting. :(

Also saying the stream is more important than the players is ridiculous. People will enjoy watching the matches but who wants to go to an event that ends at midnight because every "hype" match had to be put on stream and a one stock gimmick event was run when singles could have started.
Our game isn't street fighter or marvel
Sets take time and that needs to be taken into more consideration when running an event with a low amount of set ups and a stream.

Question: People are not allowed to bring Televisions? I'm sure someone will bring one if they get compensation for it
like we did for bringing wii's
