The West Coast series is back with another event. The last event was hype all around with a total of 72 players entering the Smash events. We hope to expand once again this time around and will be back at the same awesome venue as last time, Desu-Nation!

As always, new players will receive $5 off of their Singles entry - Flyers will be up promptly.

Singles Pools will take place to ensure you get a good amount of matches (5 minimum). If you make it out of pools, you will proceed to the pro bracket. If you do not make it out of pools, we will have an amateur bracket for those interested.




TIMES
11:00 A.M. - Venue opens - Signups Begin
~12:00 P.M. - Signups end, Singles Pools begins shortly
3:00 P.M. - Doubles Pools Begin

Amateur and Pro Singles Bracket begin as Doubles is coming to an end.


Prices
Singles Entry Fee: $10
Doubles Entry Fee: $5.00 Per Player
Door Fee: $10
Amateur Bracket (for those who do not make it out of pools): $3


Parking
Parking is really bad in front of the store. Instead, park at the Ralph's a block over. I'll add a picture in soon to show you guys exactly where to park!

Pro Bracket Payout
1st: 50% of pot
2nd: 25% of pot
3rd: 10% of pot
4th: 5% of pot
5th: 3% of pot
5th: 3% of pot
7th: 2% of pot
7th: 2% of pot


Doubles Payouts
1st - 58% of pot
2nd - 28% of pot
3rd - 9% of pot
4th - 5% of pot
*If less than 20 teams enter, payout will be top 3*

people who aren't gonna go if MK's banned, you might as well quit brawl since he's going to be banned from now on. So get used to it and start maining another character.

Im fine with banning MK for now, as long as hes unbanned eventually. Although I guess this is a bad time for those who want to go to Japan...for this series I will try my best to bring a carpool either way.

soren i haven't seen you at a tournament in like over 6 months. :p

imho i think mk should stay banned temporarily to see how the metagame develops, but in reality mk is probably not going to be banned on the wc. we'll see~

I'm an mk main and i'm still going. I go for the community, not for the tournament rofl. They could ban every character except for boring *** ice climbers and I would still go ^.^

its not so much that i'd quit brawl its more of I haven't really had time to play this game recently and i won't really get time to practice. Its not worth it to me to enter a tournament with my secondaries, regardlless of how well I'd actually place.

doubles should pay out to top 4 if 15 teams are reached. 20 teams has yet to be reached for a champion iirc

at 5%, that would be $3.75 each. the reason i saw 20 is because that would reach the $5 money back amount.
