this site has a great ladder system set up for ssb64 but sadly no one knows about it or cares to use it. I believe one of the main problems is that people may not know how to set up for online play. The smashboards ssb64 backroom approved to use the aib ladder as the official ladder for ssb64. I think that somewhere on the front of the ssb64 ladder page should be a link to the emulator with netplay http://pj64k.blogspot.com/, and a link to the ssb64 section on smashboards where people can learn more about competive play http://www.smashboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=11. Or if you guys could have links on the front page of Aib somewhere that would be even better and encourage people signed up to the brawl ladder to sign up on the 64 ladder aswell. This would be great for the online ssb64 community which does not have many competitive events goin on right now.

We are currently working on making improvements to our Brawl Singles and Doubles ladders at the moment. However, I'll address the situation with the higher ups and see what we can do for the SSB64 ladder.

Alright, thanks. Also I played a ladder match today it says, "last match: dec 2011". I'm guessing the ladder needs to be updated. If you guys do decide to make changes to the ssb64 ladder I hope that you somehow make it so the top players in the ladder have to play each other because this is one of the main issue people have with this ladder. People only playing others with low skill level to boost their ranking. Maybe adding a playoff to the ladder and money prize like you have for other ladders would help. Something like $100 towards an apex ticket would be awesome since apex this year had a huge 64 turnout, I think it would be worth it.

Monetary prizes aren't something I can guarantee, as that falls outside of my department. However, as I mentioned, I'll see what we can throw together for the SSB64 ladder. New rules might be created. It'll be a while though. Also, I make no promises.
