Okay, I know this has been done in General Silliness. Then it quickly degraded to the silly arguing that General Silliness is all about. However, I was considering if this could actually be done seriously. It's worth a try right?

When I say - "Information that you normally wouldn't share" I don't mean something you don't share because it's a secret you want no one to know. Or it's something that you really doesn't need to be shared. I'm talking about information that you normally wouldn't be comfortable sharing, is something that's unlikely to come up in normal conversation or just an unsual quirk. But in this thread we're going to have no complaints or arguments about what others say right? Agreeing, asking questions is all fine though.

It's a good opportunity to learn about other people, be open and bring the community closer. So anyone up for it?



Here's my first piece of information.

I'm actually fairly illiterate. When I first type something up it's a complete mess so I spend ages just editing everything so it's at a reasonable standard. So I guess that's why it appears that I'm a slow typer at times. Even I know that with all my editing my posts can look a bit clumsy.

-take long hot showers with lights off (take 2/3 showers every day)
-live asleep more than live awake
-if i could, i would drink more mountain dew even than water (the green one... its damn addictive)

I write fanfiction. I'm a writer at heart, but I'm just not confident enough yet to submit things for publication besides short story contests. So, I decide to hone my skills writing with characters already given in my favorite videogames, shows, etc. I can still learn a lot from fanfiction, as long as more literate people leave reviews rather than the normal "omg dis is awesome rite moar plz".

Is there anywhere that I can read your fanfics? I do enjoy a good fanfic, as long as they aren't "the characters in a highschool" which seems to be done a lot of time, poorly usually. Of course, I think I can safely assume that yours won't be along those lines.

I'm going to pick a few things that some people know about me, but generally most don't:

First off, I am incredibly anti-Christian. Every mention of God or Jesus annoys the hell out of me, mostly because it's one subject where if I speak my mind, I'm considered intolerant and prejudice. For that reason I only bother letting the fact be known with people I know well, and aren't Christian. I have to admit that while I don't believe in gods, Judaism and Islam are much more healthier religions that Christianity.

Second, I am ridiculously judging and critical of people, things, and myself above all. It necessary leads to pessimism and nihilism, but I recently realized how to defeat nihilism both on philosophical and logical grounds. FYI: it's said that the necessary conclusion of logic is nihilism. Think on that.

Hmm... I rarely drink water and I am not nearly as confident in my Smash skills as I should be.

im pretty socially retarded in real life, unless your a pretty close friend or family member its practically impossable for me to start a conversion with you. And if you start talking to me i become about as talkative as Link. Lack of self-confidence i guess

I have Asperger's Syndrome, (social disorder), so I hate talking to people I don't know. Once I've known them long enough I'll start talking to them, but I hate talking to strangers and stuff.

But on teh interwebs, I'm not shy, cause people don't know who I am.

I used to write all my stories as reesepbcup, but in a bit of blind rage or something, I deleted the account and all the files and stories attached to it. I really regret it now, and since have yet to actually finish a story lol one of them, "Perfection", has a lame ending because I tried to win a romance contest on Mediaminer.org, but that's not my normal style, fyi lol I REALLY don't like that ending but I never had the work ethic to change it.

Just as a warning, like I said, none of my stories on this new account are finished. I skip between ideas too much and real life always gets in the way. I'm trying to finish them all now before I move onto my Metroid idea.

aberz, I believe your jurisdiction in this particular instance is faulty. I don't believe he was being silly, that was a legitimate thing for him to share.

For once I agree with Ronek.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think that he might have been complaining because it's an "adult subject". I don't even know what the rules are on that kind of thing (The rules aren't on the site? Or maybe I'm just slow) or whether it even counts since it's just bordering on the idea. Just throwing out an idea though.

I completely despise most organized religions, and if I find out that somebody I know is a devout Catholic or something, it may affect my opinion of him/her. I'm not totally anti-religion though, as I think it can potentially be beneficial, especially in the cases of deeply troubled individuals looking for some guidance.

-When i was in the 5th grade we found out that i have Dyslexia so it's kind of been harder for me I had to try harder to get the grades that i thought were acceptable.
