No way is Pictochat completely balanced. The stage has so many hazards that I would prefer it being banned.

I definitely don't see how Pokemon Stadium and Castle Siege are neutral if Luigi's Mansion is not.

I don't see why destructible terrain should cause a ban, doesn't make any sense to me.

First off, I don't believe Luigi's Mansion should be banned. It should be a counterpick stage.

Let's try a different approach: playstyles. On a neutral stage, a player should have to barely adjust their playstyle to match the stage, and the difference should be minimal.

Watch these two matches of my Dedede, one on a neutral stage (FD) and one on Luigi's Mansion, then tell me what you notice about my playstyle.

I know what it is, but I want to see if you can figure it out. For all I know, I might just overhyping a certain difference between the two stages, but I also might be on to something.

Pokemon Stadium should be neutral. What is different about stadium this time compared to melee. In melee there were instances of standing on the opposite sides of a wall or tree but for the most part the stage was very neutral and the changes don't last very long so the waiting isn't that bad.

Distant Planet should be counter pickable. The few item things that spawn aren't game changing and the waterfall prevents camping and you can jump out of it so it won't kill you.

Pictochat should be banned because the most of the forms of the stage promote major camping and the spikes will definitely kill you, and if someone respawns during this stage, the player who stayed alive has to deal with an invincible person in very close boundaries where if they hit the point they might die. And its incredibly hard to run away from an invincible person in this situation without getting nailed by the spike.

Skyworld is incredibly gay but I don't think there is enough evidence of campiness to ban it yet.

Frigate Orpheon should be counterpickable. While I have seen the stage rotating kill someone recovering, I've only seen it happen once and I don't think it occurs enough to ban it.

Luigi's Mansion will never be neutral.

if there's one thing im SURE of, its that i dont care how people like "jake the boy" view me.

also, people need to learn what neutral actually means. when i see "pokemon stadium is one of the most neutral", i think someone needs to belong to the smash community more than a few months.

If you are going to be a moderator on this site, it is important how people view you. Moderators should be community leaders, not people who say "dont post if you havent played the game" and shy people away from stating their opinions.

i dont care what your opinion of what a moderator should be is. a moderator is someone who cleans up up the trash in a forum. that's all they do. and im only a moderator for the ddd forums.

everyone needs to seriously stop qq'ing.

That wasn't my opinion of what a mod is, that is what a mod is. Being a moderator isn't just a job, it's a sign that you are a leader. When you flame other people here, you are giving the All is Brawl staff a bad name when we are all good people.

Stop being an *******.

here's my preferences.
Neutrals:
Battlefield (duh)
Final Destination (duh)
Yoshi's Island (duh)
Lylat Cruise (duh)
Smashville (duh)
Pokémon Stadium (sucks more than it did in melee, but it's fine. Camping on the side of the tree is nothign new to melee players)
Castle Siege (walk-offs aren't broken in brawl, acts just like a predictable PS)

Counterpicks
Frigate Orpheon
(as much as i'd love to see this neutral, it just can't be. Flip doesn't really effect people who have played on it before. has one edge that is ungrabable, which might cause issues)
Luigi's Mansion (due to extended hit boxes and camping strats)
Delfino Plaza (a carless mute city)
Battleship Halberd (nothing really to interferre badly)
Jungle Japes (much easier to recover and it was often a cp in melee)
Brinstar (eh, not sure about this one)
Norfair (nothing too crazy, just lots of little hazzards. Still iffy)
Distant Planet (iffy, not because of the thing on the right side, but because of random item spawning. Characters without items are made for a reason. Who wants marth to be able to spam?)
Pictochat (small hazards need more test time to determine if this is playable)
Yoshi's Island (Pipes) (Nothing broken with walk-offs in Brawl, and borders are bigger than in Melee)
Bridge of Eldin (Nothing broken with walk-offs in Brawl, and despite what people say, i haven't seen super effective camping strats here)

Banned
Skyworld
(Acts like the temple when plats aren't broken. Hard to recover when they are broken)
Great Sea (too many interferrences that often change the outcome fo the game. Causes players to pay more attention to the backgrounds at some points than at the fight)
Green Hill Zone (promotes heavy camping with checkpoints. Changes the strategy of the game too radically)
Corneria (wall stages broken)
Rainbow Ride (chaingrab, and wait for screen to kill)
Mushroomy Kingdom (chaingrab, and wait for screen to kill)
Mario Circuit (premotes massive camping underneath the roads on the edges. Possible CP in the future)
Rumble Falls (duh)
Pokémon Stadium 2 (air stage too good for certain characters, i.e. G&W's 0% uair kill. Conveyor level interrupts fighting too much)
Wario Ware (random bonuses)
New Pork City (like three temples put in one)
The Summit (physics are changed twice per rotation, and fish is instant death at decent %'s)
Shadow Moses Island (wall stages broken, unless US release fixes it)
75m (duh)
Spear Pillar (lasers, boomerrangs, lasers, lasers, oh and reverse controls)
Mario Bros. (turtle shells too broken)
Flat Zone 2 (interferres too much)
Electroplankton (Sonic is glitched on this stage, hopefully will be fixed in US release)
Big Blue (duh)
Temple (duh)
Onett (wall stages broken)

No Idea
Port Town
(i have no opinion on this)

That's 18 legal, 22 banned if you're a numbers guy.

Wait, really? Green Hill Zone banned for camping but Bridge of Eldin not? The Bridge is like... three times the length of Green Hill.

But BoE is an open area where you can airdodge through fast projectiles and navagate through slow ones. On green hill zone you can just go after the gates and stand behind them as they spin since they dont hit you as long as you control them, and spam with a gateshield on.

I'm not saying BoE isn't campy, but it's sure doesn't seem bannable. And a lot of people are talking about the walk-offs like that still means something. (well it does if you still don't know how to get away from DeDeDe's CG)

Yet you ban predictable moving stages like Mushroomy Kingdom and Rainbow Ride? Are you serious? Nothing has changed on that stage, it should be a counterpick easily.

Yeah nothing, which isn't even true, but for your sake let's just say nothing. How fun would it be to get wall chain grabbed, which is unescapable, until the screen killed both of you when he's at 160% and you're at 0%?
