I'm gonna keep thinking the contests are rigged/biased. *points to the top 3 in stills then to Firebomb's entry* that looks rather fishy.

Firebomb, yours was far to bright, it left a large empty spot to the right of the render. That is why I would not have voted for it. Although, idk why riddler got points and you didnt...

Seriously,Stacey. Do you have any solid evidence that this contest is biase/rigged. The reason some signatures do not get any point a all, is because they was something wrong with it. Meaning it wasn't worthy of being voted on. I'm sorry if I offend anyone but that's life for you all. And stop that nonesense about biase contest because you are only making the real judges look bad. One way or another, it's their decision and you have to respect it if you don't like too bad don't enter. This is not just for stacey but for those who think that way.

My evidence is any SOTW contest Aberz has placed in, animated entries not being DQ'd for being over the file size *Cough*Aura(Even though I had no problem with this one winning because it was THAT good) and Violation*Cough*, being DQ'd for easily fixable reasons (Too long, no username), and SOTW 13.
 
This judging system isn't much better than people voting on the sigs. I know it was changed to this judging system because of cheating, which is actually why I joined the site to begin with, someone woulden't stop spamming a chat I went to with vote (insert letter here) so we all finalyl voted to get him to shut up.

Judging would be better if the judges were randomly picked, and entries could not have their names on them. The only person who would know who sent in each entry would be the host, who would not be a judge. That way no contestants know who is judging, and the judges don't know who has entered.

Have you ever thought that perhaps Aberz has placed high simply because of his style and his skill level? Maybe that's why he became an art mod in the first place?

SOTW mods can decide to not DQ certain entries and make them exceptions. As mods, we have the power to do that. We DQ sometimes for simple, no brainier issues because we feel that no username and size issues are easily avoidable if the participants just read the rules. On the other hand, an animation file size that is too large isn't that easily fixable without cutting the animation and because of its quality, it wasn't DQ'ed.

I personally don't care either way for judging or public voting, I do think that there can be compromises made since neither system is perfect.

We used to do anonymous entries, but honestly, some people who really want to cheat will just pm all their friends to vote for them.

Out of curiosity, if you were to win, would you stop ranting about how all the SotW's are rigged?

Imo, I think its because you haven't won, that you bring this up.
