Anybody else from Utah? I have no idea how the tournament scene is around here (I just got into the competitive scene), but I do know that there are some game stores around that hold tournaments occasionally.

Ya im new to the whole tournament scene as well but im looking to make a name for myself around here. All the neighborhood people dont like playing with me anymore after my own little melee tournaments.

I just moved here from Alaska to study in the U, and I have no idea about tourneys here.

The only tourney I've been here was the gamestop one.
Maybe we can do an in person tournament.

Whoa, I didn't know that there were any other Utah smashers on this site because I've never checked out the regional topic until now. I've never been to a real tourney before, but if someone sets one up, I'll try to round up a few friends to come too. I live in the Davis County area, so if anyone lives nearby, let me know.

Hey I live in the Davis area too(Layton) so anyone please let me know if there are any tournaments in UT. I know the play n trade by the layton Super Wal-Mart has a tourny every friday but i've never actually gone and I don't know if it's any good.......any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, Smashboards is a ton better for anything smash related happening in Utah. Everyone should get a smashboards account as well and post in the utah threads there.

Smash Boards is the best place to go for regional shizzle.

I made a Tourny of Fate, here on AiB, and will be posting results on both SWF and AiB, but SWF is much better for UT tournies. If you have any questions or what ever just let me know.

Bleh, I take it that I am the only one from Orem around here.

Guess I'm a newbie to the site, so I might as well post here in my home state thread first. Anyone helpful introductions or whatever would be nice, but you know. Whatever.

Actually, I'm from north Orem as well and go to Timpanogos High School. I know a few other Smashers who live in Orem as well. Dark Ryu is the best Orem smasher though, who is currently ranked in the top 10.
Although I'd love to get together and Smash with you, my parents are very iffy about letting me meet people online (and for very good reason). There are kids from BYU who like to do smashfests and such, so they're your best bet at meeting people and having fun (I mean, they're from BYU. They can't be all that bad, right..? )
