Don't be so predictable with bananas. Glide-tossing is great, and employing the so-called Diddy Advanced Techs helps a lot, but you have to learn when to use them and to have a nice banana control (never allow the opponent to control your naners.)
This happens a LOT with Diddy players. They become SO predictable, and once experienced players get the hang of your banana pattern (add that Falco has an advantage against Diddy.), they don't work that well. That's why you need to make a change with patterns, and practice against that specific match-ups. Recording your games helps a lot, playind and actually watching yourself play is SO different, and helps you detect patterns and errors.
If the match is important, don try to risk yourself doing combos and stuff, play safe. This is Brawl, the so-called gay strategies work wonders if you know when to use them.
Hope it helps

And don't feel bad against Falco, he's a bad matchup against Diddy (30:70 I think), if he's a GOOD Falco you should try changing character. Remember, matchups have a great influence in this game.
