Having such high calibur games like Melee and Brawl is GGGGREAT! just play the other when you get tired of one. I still am confused why so many people dnt like Brawls more defensive focused/air combat focused gameplay. Melees speed focused and technical skill ala wavedashing has its own fun but it doesn't make Brawl incompetent. I actually hope the new Super Smash has its own uniqueness as well. Its pretty amazing we can still go back to each installment of Super Smash for a unique experience(What other franchise has that, NOT MADDEN!!!)

Personally I find that style boring.  It's more than that, but I'm bad at explaining my thoughts.  Basically, I think that Brawl took away a lot of options present in Melee so there are things that are "gayer" and less avoidable.  Plus, it's slower and faster gameplay is more exciting.

Because no one should have to be forced to camp so much in order to win.

I quit Brawl a while ago but it seems all smash has died in my area thanks to all the 2-D fighters out there now.
