Ok, I put this in Off Topic hoping I'd get some mature insight and responses to this, because this is driving me ****ing crazy.

Now, I know some of us may or may not be aware of numerology, 
but w/e. I don't either. 

I thought i was the only one experiencing this crazy thing until I googled the damn thing tonight. 

From what i've read, this little sequence (commonly referred to as the "11:11" phenomenon) is tied to godly stuff etc etc with mystical nature etc etc. NO, I don't want to deal with that, nor do i wish to believe that (because logic is thrown out the god damn window when you begin explaining that), i want a true explanation, or at least some information.

Hear me out here, it's not just "11:11" i might glance up and see on a clock around the house.
It's mainly the minute that does it to me (i.e. 8:11 AM, 5:11 PM, 3:11 ... etc etc)

Pretty much, what I am asking here, is what does it mean? 
I have more reason to believe why it might be showing up, and startling coincidences that comes with this number, so if you want me to provide more information on the matter, i shall. Please, someone help me out on this ****, this is crazy....

I've heard that if you make a wish at 11:11 it will come true.
but i'm not sure about the rest. maybe it's just plain coincidence.

But really,
after it's been going on for, what, 3 years? it begins seeming to be too much of a coincidence. Plus (from what im reading at least) it has happened to lotsa other pplz.

It becomes a sub conscious thing in your brain, it counts till it hits :11. and tells you to look at the clock. I regularly look at the clock when it's :48, but usually only every 3 hours or so.

Could be that you check the clock a lot of other times as well, but you only remember the :11 ones. Coincidence only stretches so far, though...

I seem to check my clock at 13:37 a lot (in fact, I just checked my clock because I was writing this and it showed 13:36 with less than ten seconds to go!), but I look at my clock pretty often...

Your mind relates to that number; some people relate color to #s. It's simply how you're 'wired'. I see color when I hear music; different colors for different sounds but it's consistent. Don't worry about it.

That's Synesthesia, which seems pretty cool.

But I'm not sure it has anything to do with this...

When I first started listening to 311, I saw the number everywhere.

But only because that particular number stuck out to me. It probably happened just as often before I listened to the band, I just never noticed it.

I remember seeing 11:11 all the time probably a yearish ago morning and night. I think its probably the body's biological clock that wires itself to recognize whatever time it is at the moment, if that makes any sense :>

For a logical explanation:
It's your subconscious mind trying to tell you something (not a higher being or whatever, I don't believe that either.)
So, your mind is trying to tell you something, and it's related to the number 11.
The tricky part is figuring out what it is.

people have different was of thinking so you might actually be drawn to the number though repetition. I know a person who cant code unless there is colors. Even thinks in mathematical computations in colors. Its like 69, 1337, or other such numbers that have hidden meanings. You might have put a hidden meaning to the number.

Also you are probably looking for it now without thinking of it. Like I can forget to set my clock but still wake up at the exact minute it would go off if I did set it just due to paranoia of being late.

well, i do believe i know the meaning, but does it really mean anything at all to me, (does that make sense?); so to speak, does it foretell highly probable future events? Because if my subconscious mind is telling me something (yes, i understand that it is speaking, i'm not stupid), it's way behind my conscious mind, that is, if i am correct to my idea of the number's hidden meaning.

As for seeing the number, i don't count it when i try to see it on clocks, etc (yes, i do try sometimes, lol, its just been happening so much :/) Nor do i count it as any meaning if it shows up on timestamps or anything, as it's kinda obvious it's going to show up eventually. Only when i accidentally or unintentionally see the number.

Yes, I am Christian, and I believe that God is trying to tell me something about that, but i'm not trying to believe the other "godly" parts about this number (you know what i'm saying right)

Lately, i keep seeing the minute right before 11, 10.... i guess that's because i've been trying to look, lol

One of my family members has been having this same problem and she complains about it. Says she's been seeing 11, all the time and that it's been happening for several years... I thought she was just mindgaming herself but I think i'm gonna look into it a bit more.
