The group said goodbye to the leader of the horsemen and went into the Forest of Fangorn. Gandalf knew Saron’s eye couldn’t see them in here. As they were walking they heard a strange noise. Gimi raised his ax ready to fight, making the noise even louder. “Master Dwarf, lower your ax.” Said Gandalf. Gimli slowly lowered down with caution. Gandalf when up to one of the “trees” and raised his staff. “What was that Gandalf?” Frodo said. “You will see…” Gandalf tapped the tree with his staff. The ground began to shake around them. The roots of the tree formed into legs as they came out of the earth. Branches were in the shape of arms and stood out of the thing’s head. The eyes opened and looked down at the wizard. “Hello Treebeard.” Treebeard moved his head down and said, “Gandalf… what brings… you to the forest?” “Saruman has betrayed all free people of middle earth and threatens all, including the ents.” Treebeard took his hand to his beard and stroked it. “I see… no threat…” “Come master Ent, let us talk.” He and the ent went off towards the south. Frodo had a worried look on his face. “Don’t worry Frodo,” Merry said. “He’s on our side…”
 
“I still… see no… threat to the ents…” Treebeard was being stubborn as, well, a tree. Gandalf had a trick up his sleeve though. “Take a look at what he has done.” Treebeard looked on with an open mouth. He saw stumps, stumps of trees, stumps of ents. “I had friends here…” The ent let out an ancient scream that echoed through out all parts of the forest. “What was that?” Pippin asked. “That means… the ents are going… to war!” The hobbit turned around to see ents pouring out of the forest. Gandalf looked to Isengard. He and Treebeard led the charge to Isengard, where they raised hell, then flooded the place to put out the hell.

Told you that you didn't need to tell me how the ring passed from player to player. I didn't feel like dying this game.

I wanted it too though...

I do apologize for robbing you of a chance to see how the mechanic worked, but the odds of me being NKilled rather than lynched were too high, so I claimed for doc protection. I started to assume that Leafy was all we had, so I kept saying we had a doc to see if I could frighten the scum.

Also, did the scum know that I put on the ring?

I did. But I was Gandalf so...

I got a message about it.

I didn't realize it at first, but our team and Riddle were screwed from the beginning. No, we didn't play well; I certainly didn't, at least. But we were still screwed.

There were twelve players, eight of them good. All good guys were people from the Fellowship, and the whole Fellowship was in there save for Boromir. Character claims => our deaths. We had no safe claims.

Which is why it was unbalanced as hell and I was safe with just a character claim.

You'll have people guessing at chars and reasoning them out. Your only hope is to give scum safe claims that are included in the story.
