Online Smash 64 off of Wii?
Out of curiosity, has anyone tried to create the ability to play Smash online from the Wii since it's downloadable from the VC? I'm looking to play some people since everyone I know is playing Brawl and I don't really have a ton of funds to buy all the necessary things to play off of emulators and such.

What do you need to play it via emulator that requires "tons of funds"?

SuPeRbOoM is connected in the Six Degrees of Smash web.
the only thing you would want to buy for online play is a controller...

and I use the keyboard... it's sad I know... I can't afford a controller /can't find one either.

Well, They said that they will add online gameplay with the next version of Wii64.

So if I have purchased SSB from the Wii's Online Shop, I'll be enabled to this function when the next version is released? Or do I have to purchase this Online functions that comes with the update to play SSB Online.

Wii64 is homebrew. If you bought the game, then you bought the game. You don't get online play, and you probably never will.

I doubt they have online play for SSB64 on Wii, and I also doubt that they ever will.

You can just get Roms for Emulators here http://www.coolrom.com/ I mostly only play the Sega Roms on the Wii because the Wii64 messes the games up it keeps making a loud noise and the screen blinks
