The problem is you fools, you mortals, you champions - nay, mongerers of ridicule ... what was I saying? Oh, right, you jump on the bandwagon too easily. You do not rejudge a character because of a sudden rise in tourney placings due to a new strategy or rising player who has a unique playstyle. What matters is whether that character is able to last in the advancing metagame as other players make adjustments to their tactics in order to combat the newcomers.

Olimar has arrived, you say? How extraordinary! Let's see how long it takes for someone to have his number, and how much of his worth remains should that occur.

actually darknid is 100% right as always :O
brood is just a great player and knows how to use olimar at highest just like san with ike and m2k with mk,
and fyi next 2 tournies brood played in usa. adhd raped him in gfs (3-0) and he placed 7th at gauntlet. losing to dabuz in dittos and i recall him losing to cable?(dk).
I really thinks brawl skill lvl of average player needs to advance more-so then chars. there's pretty much only a handful of good players. ppl still hold shield too much, spotdodging and smashes. powershielding needs to be implented more

While this is very true it still says a lot for a non top tier character to place so well in a national. Since brood's visit he's gotten either 1 or 2nd place at all the locals he went to and itll be interesting to see if any of the us oli mains can replicate what he did

Only 995 pages left! Let's keep discussing about Diddy, Snake and Falco. Those 3 are very hard to tell who is the best and who is the least best. So go on and discuss. I think Falco deserves the 2nd spot. His lasers and jab and all the crazy moves like his chaingrab are incredible. Also Falco won at APEX and when we look at Snake who hasn't placed very well lately it makes me think that Snake's time is starting to be over.

Snake could potentially drop below Diddy, but I don't see that happening. Even with Felix's big placement at MLG, he only really beat players that weren't experienced against him well. There was a pretty big difference with him vs. Tyrant and vs. Lee.

IMO Falco > Snake > Diddy
