This is the exact reason why I didn't push for second level thresholds. Things change and the thresholds get outdated, causing a mess on a site this big. The Target Smash thresholds are pretty hard to get but theoretically they should be getting easier over time (though the modes have stagnated unfortunately). They can always be made more lenient without causing any problems whatsoever.
Not much to say except that I agree.

Slugger is really easy but that's ok because 100k is a natural benchmark threshold for new players and imo that makes it more likely that new players will go for it.
Says the guy who wants hard Target thresholds. >_> Ideally, wouldn't it be best to have all thresholds in all modes in all games equally easy/difficult, or at least as close as possible? By that logic, the MMM badge should also be given to someone who finishes 15MM/B with more than five characters, so "new players are more likely to go for it" without having to go through the work of every character. Which I think you would agree doesn't warrant a badge.
I'm not saying the threshold should be EXACTLY equal with Melee's 50k, but it should at least be close! As I've said before, aesthetics should never be a deciding factor in these situations.
Somebody should ask Sin what he feels the Brawl equivalent to Melee 50k/90k/120k is. Since he's the best in both, maybe he would have a more unbiased opinion?

btw it's about time to add that WR holder badge. It's been long enough. I think it's actually already there but I instructed it to not be used for awhile because WRs in the first couple years of a game can be pretty trivial. The badge also shouldn't apply to tied records unless it actually takes a tremendous amount of skill to do. Proof is necessary of course.
I still feel that the wrs have plenty of room for improvement, particularly in the lesser-played modes, just that nobody feels like doing it. Maybe that would give current semi-active Stadium players the boost they need to try harder? I also still feel that badges aren't most of a motivator, but every little bit helps.

160k for Legend? You're seriously telling me that 160k in Brawl is 120k in Melee? Considering in the 8 years it's been out only 7 people have got 120k in Melee, yet in Brawl in about 2 years well over 20 people now (probably 30 or so, mostly Japanese) have got over 160k and a lot have over 170k (I've seen around 10 people with 50km compilations alone, and there are 5 people above 55km iirc in this order (with proof, Sin not providing any since around 56km for example so if he claimed 60km I wouldn't count it etc) - Desire, Sin, Sate, Pampy, MariKero)...
Remember that there are twice as many people playing Brawl HRC than there ever were playing Melee HRC, so that would mean roughly twice as many people in any given rank. But yes, 160k Brawl isn't even close to 120k Melee.
