Yeah the creators have horrible attitudes, but not once do they imply negative aspects towards brawl.
Pardon?

Not my cup of tea, but a tremendously interesting project. Congrats on the demo!
Thanks! It's nice to see somebody who can appreciate the time and effort, even if it's not up their alley.

Played it, its great, I feel like it could still use some work.
What in particular? There's a lot of things we're obviously still working on, but maybe you've figured out something that we have not.

Anything in particular you dislike about it? I'm curious if you've tried it.

no mods needed?
... do i still load through gecko anyway?
The "No-mod" Method takes advantage of the Stacksmash glitch in Custom Stages, and loads GeckoOS that way. So you can do it on a system that is unmodded before and after playing Project M, but the loading process does indeed use Gecko.
And as the primary Link dev, he's definitely not broken. He's better than his Melee self in a lot of ways, but he's certainly not broken. I can't wait to see everything he can do if we manage to figure out tethering.
And if you don't like Melee, you still may enjoy Project M. What is it going to do, take 15 minutes of your time?
