bowsercide tbh isn't much of an issue for me because he can jump at the end and still get the win
i never fully understood the "if you force the suicide its your win" rule so im fine with it going either way

rainbow/brin should never be on at the same time and thats been discussed like crazy
picto should never be on any stage list because of how stupid it is (despite that its one of my favorite stages ever)
ps2 shouldnt be on that either but thats been beaten to death too

one thing that stands out besides the stages is the 50 edge limit on everyone and 30 on just meta. what people dont seem to understand is that planking with almost any character is detrimental to a lot of the cast and for such a generous number as 50 people would be crazy to not start taking advantage of it

You keep saying "PS2 should be banned". PROVE IT. Finally, we have positive evidence. PS2 has been legal in most tournaments in Germany, the Midwest... basically everywhere I've heard of beyond Atlantic North has the stage legal. And how many complaints have there been? Zero. Not one single ****ing complaint about the stage that had to do with its validity. Sure, people *****ed and moaned about how "gay" air was and how much they disliked the stage, but that's not an argument against the stage, that's an argument against the community's level of maturity. I'm basically telling you: "Put up or shut up". You haven't provided evidence; you've provided notably poor theorycraft.

That said, this ruleset has some serious deficits. Brinstar+RC with only one stage ban, Picto is legal but Japes isn't, 5 ****ing starters, FD among them... It's like everything the people debating in the stages forum, the people who know what they are talking about on the subject, all that they said was "blah blah blah legalize PTAD blah blah blah we have no idea what we're talking about". I'm ****ing sick of being ignored when I constantly prove myself with logic. What's it going to take? Do I have to start hosting nationals myself or what?

Also speaking of biased... Frigate is in most matchups between "as good as" and "better than" delfino for MK. Yet for some reason you demand that Delfino get the axe (although it has no issues)... But you never bring up frigate. MISTER ROB MAIN.

Frame data shows MK's planking is broken and has been proven like with M2K at SiiS4, everyone else...debatable for some characters but putting a limit on Lucario is a joke, he should never win with planking, ever.

There is no reason for Ps2 to not be legal, unless someone can show why it is broken.

but on a srs note 30 ledge grabs is not a lot of grabs really stops mk from planking but it does not help the fact that ppl leik tl or pit or ddd can sit there on the ledge in some mus and u cant do shiz vs them because they still have 50

There's no reason for PS2 to be completely illegal because it's mild compared to most CPs. It just shouldn't be a neutral.

Cadet: Neither Japes nor Picto should be legal. Picto has random game-changing hazards and Japes is broken for ahem, some characters... DK, for instance, can camp in the water on the left side using his Swimming Kong trick and this protects him from most characters. It isn't technically stalling, either, because your opponent can hit you; they will most likely die, but they can hit you.

No, the klaptrap sinks to the bottom before it reaches the left side.

Fair, Nair, Aura Sphere, Get up attack, Uair if they are too close, bair in some situations for attacks, the last two being weak options.

Either way him on the ledge is a no go, putting a LGL on him is dumb.

The only good thing in that list is get up attack because it comes out quick.

Either way using a get up attack is normally a bad idea anyway.

Yeah all of those moves are ****ty for planking. The only one that comes close is fair because it's fast but other than that he'll just get hit.

Again the point being, do we really need a LGL on characters like him, or Zelda, or Link?

There are very few characters who can plank effectively.

Dk, Pit, G&W, Marth, ZSS, Samus, kirby, TL and olimar sort of.

Guess that list isn't that big but still it's not like this LGL hurts characters besides mk.
