It is worrying; what will the retaliation be?
Don't take that wrong; it's a big step vs Al-Qaeda but he was still one leading man. I see this more as a political victory for Obama and the USA. We can actually combat terrorism without another catastrophe like Iraq. (I'm still ****ed about that). The USA is getting kudos points in their world standing for killing Bin-Ladin.

...Frankly, the media's a parasitic industry that feeds off misery. /my 2 cents.

Lemme put it this way:

You know how we see people in other countries celebrating in the streets when a despot or some other local ******* is killed? I think today Americans understand and identify more how those people feel when it happens. Not saying it's right or wrong, but it is what it is.

Consider me cautiously optimistic about it all. By no means is the War on Terror over. Most likely, it'll never be over. But the US found the most prominent face of terrorism and got rid of him. And from what analysts are saying, the current second-in-command of al-Qaeda failed previously at running a terrorist organization, and there will likely be a power struggle. Still a ton of work to do, but this is a big step forward.

imo this is more of a social then political victory

Even though Osama is dead, terrorism isn't going to stop, but the fact that a man who's very name is synonymous with terrorism is dead will definitely give a boost to the morale of our American Comraaeeeds

What are your thoughts on this Comraaaeeed Rizen?
