This is something that I was working on a while back and I'd like to subject it to you who may be reading this.

Thus far I do not have much, but I'd like some input on this.

Top tier
Glass Bottled Coke
Alluminum Canned Coke

High Tier
Fountain Coke (done correctly obviously)
Foreign Country Glass Bottled Coke (you can buy mexican coke in the us for example, it tastes different)

Mid Tier
Regular Plastic Bottled Coke

Low Tier
2 Liter Plastic Bottled Coke
Fountain Coke (done with incorrect proportions, blegh)


Garbage horrible never ever drink this stuff Tier
Stale Coke (aka Pepsi)


anything you can think to add would be wonderful, as I'm sure I'm missing some things.


NOTE: it is assumed that all of these drinks are nearly ice cold, but not quite there, they are chilled and refreshing, but not too cold.

NOTE 2: weather is not a factor in this tier list, it is assumed that it is a warmer but not hot day, to whatever specific per-body temperature those parameters permit (For example one person may be very hot at 70 degrees while one may find that simply a normal temperature)

Glass Bottled Coke is absolutely top tier. But I would actually rate Regular Plastic Bottled Coke above Aluminum Canned Coke, but probably just because the bottle has more in it .

They key to being a good coke is to accept your weaknesses and use them as strenghts

yeah, vanilla and cherry need to be on this list, otherwise you won't know the full potential of your beverage

And for the record, Dr. Pepper owns all sodas, but Coke is still good.

Anyway, I'd like to submit that although I have a hard time disagreeing with Neal's assessment of bottled coke perhaps tasting superior to coke in a can, I think canned coke trumps the bottle because of how much COLDER a can feels. When you feel a cold can, you know you're getting a cold beverage; the thickness and the heat transfer properties therein can be deceiving from a plastic bottle.

types of coke are not coke, they are a completely different drink and can only be moved around through opinions, i want real coke, sure cherry coke is good, but why buy it if regular coke is better? (and it is)

how about coke that was bought in third world countries. I've heard things about that but they may be wrong, I don't know that for sure.
