Although my main in brawl is link, I still use Ganon for friendlys and I think that he is one of the most slept on characters in the game. People say Ganon is slow blah this and blah that and he got nerfed or whatever but I think that Ganon (if used right) can be on of the most dangerous characters.
I think on of the most important parts of being a good ganon is being patient and waiting for your opponent to leave themselves open, I find this strategy more effective then just being aggressive and attacking. Also I think that Ganons strong area is in the air and I usually get kills more in the air then on the ground. 

He is very dangerous if played fairly well, but he can't really stack up in tourney unless you have great skill. The problem I have with him is that he has compared to many characters very little finishing power that is effective beyond his forward smash, down B in the air and Spike. If you are going to be effective with Ganondorf you need to rack up the damage with his attack and set up for a spike or smash attack. This limited style of finishing plus slow moment is not good, on the other hand his charge makes him faster and most people don't know how to read Dorf effectively. I'd say be aggressive with him till the damage is built up since he's most likely going to take many hits even if he is cautious and then avoid attack and look for good times to smash or spike your enemy.

or a spartan kick, or a thunder stomp, or a f-air, and at higher percentages, a dash attack, an up-aerial, a down-B (from the air), a back-air. Hell I've even ko'ed with his punch and his down-a. If ganondorf has anything, it's killing power. He does posess the triforce of power remember.

Also, Rich is right, I've KOed with his ftilt, a downb from the air AND on the ground, forward and back airs, down kicks, you name it

When you wizard kick at high% they cant retaliate also Dspeacial in the air is broken.

I always get KO'd trying that... I'm in the middle of the attack and my friend hits me out of it... how's that work lol?

Yeah, I have killed with every single one of his attacks, except his sideB (duh). Jab kills ftw.

Yeah, almost all of his moves are kill moves >__>

Ganondorf is a great character, learn the thunderstorm and master his aerials and hes a beast.
I kinda main ganon (im not sure who I play better with, with ganon or pit), and I can go toe to toe with almost any character, usually the ones I have more tourle are the small characters, like diddy or squirtle, but other wise I would win most of the time, and I also use the uair for mindgames, my friends are use to it now, but for 1st timmers, they usually fall for it XD

Ok I was a noob ganon when I posted that, in order to be a effective ganon I think you must master the short hop dair where it cancels and you can do it consecutively and mix in other moves aswell. Ganon is garbage tier some say I say who cares because Im still going to own your Snake, Pit blah blah  (metas a bit** though not saying its impossible becuase he is light). Look at it this way, not as many people main ganon as they do for snake, TL, Meta ect.

ganondorf, ike, and snake are killing moves

snake only has 2 moves of his moveset that can't blastline i think at all, his cypher and his taunt

the rest of the moves can kill below 200%

But yeah, reverse Uairs are absolutely incredible for edgeguards, along with surprise Fairs.



The main reason Ganon is so bad though, is his weakness to projectiles. If they camp well, you lose.

ganon was pretty hard to use before i practiced with him, now he's one of my favorites. i got a kill at like 65% with his sidesmash
