No-one seems to have answered my question. Will they be added at a later date?

From my point of view the King badges are supposed to be analogs to the National Champion badge. Does a tournament player get multiple National Champion-type badges for winning multiple tournaments? No, he/she does not, so no, you will not get multiple-level badges for having more and more WRs. [And before anyone says something: the Stadium Smasher and World Record Holder badges [when re-enabled] are the analogs to Local Hero and Regional Champ].

So yes, joe, I would be inclined to give a King badge to someone who briefly holds a record, just like I would give a National Champion badge to someone who won a single national tournament and then disappeared from the scene.

That's alright then, but why aren't there badges for Scored Events and Timed Events?

Honestly, I think there are not badges for timed and scored events because to present date, nobody has really gone to the effort to max out event times, scores, and strategies. There are a few exceptions of course, but on the whole, events matches remain relatively fresh, untouched if you will. I myself have a number of "World Records" in the event match category, and a lot of them are the first really "good" score that I got. I know that much more can be done with my same strategies to get waaay better times and scores, but nobody has really taken the time to do it, as they have in more popular modes, like HRC and BtT. I think when more time has passed and people really take a hold of the events like they eventually did in Melee, then it will be a good idea for sure. But that time is, just simply, not yet.

Edit:  This is imho btw. icon_smile
I was going to write something here, but I forgot what it was.

As long as they're included at some point, I'm fine with it.

I agree with this, which is also why 15MB does not count towards the MMK badge yet. To continue neal's analogy, getting a badge for these "untouched" modes is like being considered a national champion for winning a tournament with a few hundred mediocre players.

It's not that reason alone though. The fact that the game doesn't calculate totals for Events makes it inconvenient for someone to provide proof of their accomplishment.

It's only three more pictures than they would take before. And if they really did hold the record for it, they would be willing to go to that extent. icon_wink And I do see what you mean by untouched. So when a few more compete, we should renew the subject. icon_wink

Wouldn't they have to take a picture of every individual score? For the other modes you can just take a picture of the character screen to see the total. You also can't save replays of Event matches, which is another big inconvenience proof-wise.

Sorry, I was thinking solely of scored events. Then maybe you should only have the scored events badge for now?

Most digital cameras can also take videos, can they not?

Could I have the Classic King badge? I have photo proof of my Ganon score if its needed.

Even though I'm a mod now I can't hand out those stadium badges.

I see you only need 100,000 feet. I already have 130,000 feet.

I just noticed something, you have a badge for people that get over 100,000 ft. on HRC. Why not also have one for people with a total time less than x:xx.xx on target smash, but a different time on each level.

Then only do it for the first target smash level, and do it for the other ones when their popularity increases.

Ouch. These badges arrived too late.
I lost 3 Multi-Man Brawl totals to SW and Sadoth.
