well, everyone said that about doubles and singles brawl in only half a day, and that was just accomplished last saturday at smashachusetts III, so I'm not worried as long as my staff is clutch.

If you plan to make this an "international" tournament then MK needs to be legal to get those said "international" entrants. But really, I don't see an "international" tournament happening. For "international" means more than one country. I guess you can count that one Canadian entrant (Ally) and call it an international; but Ally travels to the US all the ****ing time, so to me that point is invalid. S2 and S3, I guess they were technically internationals. But they really weren't. See where I'm getting at?

Just don't promise an international when we probably won't get one. No offense. And Pelca is right about the possible decrease in entrants with the new location. Unless if you can convince the Springfield locals to come, expect a lower sized turnout. But if we can get all of those out of region players again, expect even MORE of those OOR's, which to me is JUST TOO HYPE.

I understand, this is till in it's early stages so I wil ldecide whether or not it can be called "international" as my projected attendance list grows. I'm willing to take a minor hit to the local side if the pro side makes up the difference of course.

so does anyone know this early if they will have set-ups available for the event? I am probably going to re-visit each prospective venue around the area to make sure my decision is ok, I will immediately post pics once I have selected my choice.. Your input is always appreciated too.

So...what was the point of having a poll for MK legality if you were just going to ignore it and go with the complete opposite of what the results were? (MK legal is fine with me, but wat).

The chance of getting OOC players (other than Ally...) to come to this is slim to none, easily. I'm curious how you decided which were "dud" votes as well. A plane ticket from OOC to here is, what, $700-$900? Just saying, don't do something a majority of the NE community doesn't want just because you think this could be an international.

OOR doesn't make this an international tourney. If that is what you meant, then this is still a Regional tourney and you should label it as such. Ally travels so much to American tourneys I wouldn't consider a tourney he attends to be International ever.
