lololol...
So far I've only had girls come onto me. I'm more a jokingly pervert. Every couple seconds I'm making a joke about how their Jeans look ****ing horrible so they should take them off, or something along those lines. I like sex, I like it a lot. I am a bipolar person and girls don't understand that at all. Some days I'd like to hang out with them and stuff, and some days I'd rather not even see their face and sit at home and do nothing. I do have anger problems for sure. Relationships really aren't my style, unless the girl understands me. The relationship I'm about to have, the girl understands me. Possibly the person I honestly love. I've liked her for the past 4 years. She knows me better than I know myself. She's actually stopped me from committing suicide because of stuff at home. Notice how I don't touch Alcohol. Relationships are great if the two actually understand eachother and not rush into sex. All the times I've had sex they were more one night stands if anything, which I didn't come onto them, and now I don't even talk to them really.
Also use a condom each and everytime, unless you're actually going for a kid. My cousin pays 30% of his paycheck to pure child support. That's not including the 30% the government takes out.
Third base is the best base IMHO.

As long as the two people in the relationship are in for the same ride, I see it as being healthy. If both people want to wait til marriage, go for it. If both people want to be **** buddies, then go for it. If both people want a serious relationship with a lot of sex too, then go for it. What's healthy is that both people's needs are satisfied jointly and as long as that's happening a relationship will be healthy.

I personally could no longer imagine myself in a relationship without sex. I've had a couple  of those in my day..and it always converges into a friendship because there's a special connection missing. It's not the most important thing, but I feel it to be quite important. A strong sexual relationship actually builds up your chemistry outside of the bedroom and makes you feel closer to someone.

If you're into saving it that's fine by me, just pointing out how I think. However a lot of couples who do save it are in for a rocky surprise when they find out they can't satisfy their partner and they are already married. If you want a smash analogy, you need to know your matchups before you get good at them.

Remember kids: Before having sex, ask the girl what she bans, and make sure she counterpicks properly. Chaingrabbing isn't banned, and  Oh and don't get raped.

In the UK, it is common to be 'doing stuff' at 14 and not unusual to be having sex by 15

We suck at self control and lots of people feel pressured to 'keep up'.

Well I dunno
But it's pretty common

and @ Peachy

From a Christian perspective (which I know is not what this is about, but since Christians are the main group of people who (try to) follow the save sex until marriage thing, so it's still kinda relevant), saving sex until marriage has many advantages. It's hard for sure and feels like God is 'spoiling the fun' but... I'll divide them into religious and secular reasons

Religious reasons:
- Fewer things to distract you from God... God wants us to serve him, but if you serve your genitals as well then it is harder to keep up with both
- It's the way God designed it

Secular reasons:
- Fewer unwant pregnancies
- Fewer (almost 0) STIs
- Means that when you marry someone, your body is a special gift which no one else has received
- Less chance of being used for sex

In the end, I think the world would run more smoothly if everyone waited, even if it is more fun for the individual to not wait.

I dunno.

I'm not trying to convert you to changing your mind. I'm just bringing ideas to the table.

There are dangers in sex, increased pregnacies, increase in STD's because parents do not have the right tools to teach sex education to their children. sometimes the leave it up to the education system and that really fails. Sex Ed in school just tells you how AWFUL SEX is and you'll never be happy with it, so do not have sex or yourll DIE.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

I was in school, my Senior year, and I i just transferred to a new school in the LAUSD district. Because of class differences they put me ina Freshmen Health Class. I figured it was going to be easy, and it was. Then they started talking about sex. As a Sr i thought i knew it all already but the schools approach was pretty simple, scare the **** out of these 9th graders to stop them from having sex. They pretty much just talked about STDs = DEATH. Had a lady who contracted several STD come and speak to us. Showed us pics

[omg im getting kind of sick thinking about it.]

end.

[im like eating a bowl of cereal. this is gross.]

PeachyAenne got a boosted 2345 Exp. for having an orgasm. PeachyAenne grows to level 84! PeachyAenne wants to learn Pervert, but PeachyAenne already knows four moves. Should PeachyAenne forget a move? (Nothing personal, but I'll just assume you won't mind icon_wink )

Anyway, I think this topic is a tad too rational for something quite mindless as sex. I know most of us are pretty smart nerds, but still. A lot of you seem to share the opinion of moral and especially the lack of morale by others. I think that's quite a bold statement. As you can see in this topic a lot of people are (still) think about that thing very serious, so far from everyone is "corrupted". And even those who don't think about sex so serious, do have a morale. You could highly qualify them as not being a faithfull person either to God or to their spouse. But those are very personal affairs (I almost typed settings here, lol).

Second I do not think sex is the reason of so many divorces. I think what really made that happen is the fact that it became normal. I think a lot of people simply didn't like eachother too, now and centuries before, but social pressure was holding them back. And maybe I think that's sometimes a good thing, after all a relationship is about keeping it up, you can't demand to always be happy together.

Lastly I would like to join PeachyAenne and PEEF's opinion that if you plan to marry (forever) you should know eachother very well on all sides, so that includes sex. And you might think you can overcome that point with talk, but why would that be true if it isn't true for something as futile as a holiday destination.

Staind, when I made my thread, I remember making it quite clear I wasn't looking for a relationship. I wanted quick sex because 17 months of dealing with a *****y girl had deterred me from relationships.

In any case, I'm basically over it now. I still don't want a relationship, but that doesn't mean I need insta-sex. Waiting until marriage isn't my goal, but I do want to trust the girl I'm with, and love her. Care for her more than I've ever cared for a girl. If marriage happens before that does, so be it. My requirements are trust, love, and care. And I need those three things returned to me.

Also, to take away from the seriousness of this post: LAWL @ Wild pitch! OLOLOL.

There aren't really quotes that I can come up with off the top of my head but the thing is about Sex and Marriage with Christians is Sex, isn't a privilege, it's a gift from God.  The way Christians are taught about sex is not just for pleasure, it's about life.  Sorry for the story time answer coming up but when a man and a woman love each other, and care very deeply for each other they get married not to have sex, but to create a new being from their love.  Sex = Babies.

We are taught that the true meaning of sex is to create a child through the love the two people have.  Not just because it feels good.  This is why the church is all up in arms about gay marriage.  No babies.

If you are not living life on the edge, you are taking up too much space.

First of all, I don't believe that sex has to be primarily for procreation - honestly, it kinda bugs me when I hear people say that it is. Who says it has to be? If a couple gets married and decides they don't ever want kids, that instead they simply want to enjoy their lives by themselves, I don't think it should be viewed as somehow wrong or abnormal. Of course, that's just a personal quibble, and besides if everyone felt like I did, the human race would never perpetuate itself and we would slowly become extinct, so go figure.

As for the church's view on gay marriage, they're simply going to have to accept the fact that its an inevitability. They can hold to whatever beliefs they like, but they won't have an effect on the bottom line.

I totally see where you are coming from.  However you ask who says it has to be primarily for procreation?  I'd say us being here speaks for itself.  Also what other natural actions result child besides sex?

As for the gay marriage comment, it's not gonna happen, it's not even from a religious stand point.  People just don't think it's right.

Now I'm not trying to make a huge argument, I am just really enjoying other peoples opinions compared to mine.

I don't think God wants it to be just about kids.
Like, God made sex pleasurable for a reason. It's fun.
It's only catholics who are against contraceptions.
Other Christians like sex :D

lmao

Yeah.. well, God says you can't serve two masters. The example used is himself and money, but you also can't serve God and sex.

Your right sex isn't just about kids and I totally agree with you about sex is pleasurable for a reason.

Sex is about 3 things, pleasure, unity, and procreation.  (ROFL!  I never thought I'd dig up my old Peer Ministry notes for the AiB forums)

The reason we know sex is about pleasure is the Song of Solomon.
The reason we know sex is about unity is "For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh."  Genesis 2:24
The reason we know sex is about procreation is well we are here =3!

Addressing the last thing you said,

So then don't worship sex?  That goes without saying.  I'm not entirely sure where you were going with that last sentence.

If you are not living life on the edge, you are taking up too much space.
