In your OPINION, sports games aren't fun. There's people that do like them (like me). You personally don't like them. Not a problem. But you do not speak for me or the millions of other gamers that enjoy sports games. It's entirely subjective. So please, don't present an OPINION of yours as the honest-to-God truth because IT ISN'T.

Yeah, what actually WOULD change things is CUSTOMERS reacting to the prize, avoiding the company. That way, THEY are forced to react to the prize too. But if the customers continue to support the company, BoA has no reason to change, because all they want is money.

Already have it. Loved it so much that rather than use the Unlock Everything code, I did it the hard way.

People who enjoy sports games make me mad. It's sports. There's no fantasy, innovation, or anything. It's a cop-out on the developer's part because they don't have to imagine anything. Christ, if it's so enjoyable to pretend to play sports, why not stop being lazy and actually play sports? It's a lot healthier, and it'll make friends for you.

I actually do play sports. I play pick-up football and baseball, among others. Problem is, you need other people to do so, and if there aren't enough people available to play, then sports games are a viable alternative. For that matter, if the weather is bad out, sports games are good. Plus, there IS imagination and innovation in sports games. Only in a video game can a modern-day pitcher like CC Sabathia attempt to strike out Ted Williams. Only in a video game can a linebacker bodyslam the opposing QB. Only in a video game can Kobe Bryant somersault three times and fly fifty feet into the air before he dunks. So you don't like them. Sales figures indicate millions of other people do. Nothing wrong with having a contrary opinion. Just don't present it as fact and call me wrong when it's all subjective.

I always thought this was a very weak argument.

Playing a game a sport it's fun, of course. But it won't be the same as playing a video game version. It's two different things. The video game version will lay a different type of enjoyment, and so will do playing a sport in real life.

Plus, go to realize that a lot of the people who play sport games are actually the ones who are fans of the sport/play it regularly. Making this whole point useless anyway.  

Also, no fantasy? So? Where does that leaves simple puzzles games like Tetris? They are just a bunch of blocks you have to align together, but it's very fun.

Forte, stop this, you don't enjoy sports games, you don't have to. I personally don't enjoy them to the point where I'd buy one. But if you do not like the, stop being so negative about the whole thing and stating things like if everyone who plays sport games is a huge fool.

This thread isn't even about sports games, it's about EA being trash. Sports games are hideous rehashes, and have been for many years. People eat them up, I know. I don't really care that people eat them up, people eat **** all the time when it comes to the video game industry. I never presented anything I said as fact, so why you're getting uppity and defensive is beyond me.
