I disagree. Having an anime character in the banner detracts from the Smash purpose of the site. Also, just because it happened in the past doesn't mean it's acceptable now.

You guys did great, but you really lose my attention with the straying completely away from Smash in general and making things completely irrelevant, like the Sonic banner E in the mewtwo set.

Mewtwo -  I really don't want to want to vote for B, but I must. If it's a Mewtwo skin i'd expect mewtwo to be present at least, eh.

Blue - Really? Most of these are too Low Quality or don't match the color scheme. I got nothing.
-EDIT- Going back, I can vote for D. The quality isn't half bad, actually.

Orange - uh.... I would vote for F but it really has minimal to do with smash. Awesome banner, but a bit far fetched, because it represents another game entirely.

Pink - Same case with Blue. <font>Amy isn't involved in smash any bit. I have no idea why I'm even seeing her face, along with some other random sonic characters, and some random anime character.

Red/Black - Awful.

Rising Sun - D doesn't match the color scheme, I don't see why it's up there.


We have such awesome artists in our art community, maybe we should leave it up to certain people after all.
Even if they get popular vote, I think the majority of these banners would deface the site quite a bit. Coming from my perspective, it would be a turnoff having a low quality banner blaring you in the face everywhere on the website.

That is my rant.

I highly doubt you entered, KingJuan1. So please, recognize where you're coming from as someone who didn't attempt to create "eligible banners" for this site, yet you have the audacity to complain.
