Next time a bomb and enough time and THEN down+A. There can't go anything wrong icon_smile No dodging or something. It's just about the percent counter then. BTW, the difference from throwing the bomb to the ground instead of to the right isn't that big, or? I heard about a same balance so it doesn't matter.
Anyway the world record is assured icon_wink

As far as I know, the difference is pretty significant.

Peach reverse turnip smashthrow down @ 200%, my highest yet ^_^

5400ft / 1650m maybe?

Did slowfalling/lcancelled bds for this. If I can re-learn autocancell bds I can squeeze maybe a few more percent. Will Trek see 5500ft / 1670+m Peach someday?

Played MrGW some more again after a little MrGW hiatus, the best I could get was like 7 bds w/flying start, just as fast as my current score w/2% more. MrGW still hates me but I'll try again later tonight.

Also played Falco, BiH @ 202% iirc, but was too far away from the Sandbag.

I haven't pulled a bomb for almost a week. My item count since the last bomb has been 1 saturn and 4 beam swords icon_eh2

I am now pausing half a second after the down B though. I am finding this makes matters much easier. I hate to pause, but whatever it takes... I really don't know where my experience with bombs went. Meh. At least next one I pull, I should finally have this record. One can only guess what the maxing will be...Although I don't have much trouble at all getting 23X, I get 227-229 about just as often. I'm not going to stop pulling at high 22Xs. I want as many completions as possible.

Are you throwing after or during (down + A, unpause) the pause? I don't know if you've gotten marginally faster, but if you have time I would think throwing after unpausing would be safest. I know I've tried throwing during the pause and sometimes it won't work because Peach is still in the tail end of the pulling animation. Regardless, you got this. Soon...

^I know exactly what you're talking about. But no, I'm not buffering the throw through the pause. The pause is just for me to take a breather and see how the throw needs to be done. (ex. turn right & BTD, walk a smidgeon left & BTD, or go straight for the BTD; my positioning is much more consistent now, usually I just go straight for the throw)

I just can't pull that sucker! I know I've wasted bomb after bomb, but I'm ready now. I've made 500-1000 completions just this week! Didn't even devote as much time this week as I have previous weeks; it's just that the strat is practically second nature at this point. I average approximately one complete every minute!

that's a pretty good idea! I did that when I first got IC 10K cause i was always so nervous and there was no way to practice the ending. Just make sure you edit the pause out icon_wink if you can't do it accurately, send it to me and ill take care of it icon_razz

Alright...Are you deinterlacing the video? If you cut the frames out when it's deinterlaced to 60fps, you'll get the smallest and most effective cut.

Also, just realized you beat Skywalker and made 10th worldwide with that Roy score, NFK. Congratulations dude. 

/edit2: As you can see from the vid, I didn't worry too much about editing out the pause. That was the best I could do anyways. The item pull sound was almost entirely on the frames that the game was paused, so it sounds weird xP
