Had some interesting runs with kirby...he's a weird character. I'm trying stuff's strat, but with singles. Basically, the way it's looking, the difference between one "level" of maxing is a whopping 5%! It's because kirby's ada starts throwing the bag up and down at about 90%. This works great once you're past 90%, because it lets you max more and gives you a bigger area of spacing to be in...the only problem is that in this strat, the second bd goes through that 90% barrier. It boils down to this:
If you don't get all the hits on the first bd, you CANNOT get all the hits on the second one. That's because at the end of the second bd, the bag isn't at % to get knocked around until the very end, which puts the bag in an awkward place so that the last "bad" hit will hit the bag away.
If you DO get all the hits on the first bd, you can go either way for the next one. But here's one last caveat: Once I get halfway through the strat, I find it easier to do the same thing over and over again than switch them up. So I can either get every bd with all the hits, or every one with one missing. Basically, it's all or nothing.
tl;dr: I'll either eke 1000m (maybe!) or SMASH the record. I'm thinking like 211.
