Is there a chance of doing melee at you guys place?

I should be able to make it to this one. I asked for time off that weekend and it's looking like I will make it. Can't make a solid promise, my boss is really good at 'forgetting'...

Thank you :). This is my first time doing this so I am unfamiliar with any of the addresses and such.

There's a good chance of doing Melee at our place, but there'd be some limitations (start early, finish quick enough so I can set up over at BCG for the Brawl events).

It really depends what the regulars want to do, having Melee events at my place would cut back on paying a venue fee and give us more room for setups, but we probably wouldn't have much time to do much more than just singles. If we start things early enough we might be able to have doubles/crews. I'd have to have everything finished by about 2p.
Attendees coming for Melee should let me know if they want to do this.

I am planning on coming solely for Melee. This may not be overly iimportant because I am not yet a regular, however I figured I would just let you know.

Well, I posted about it to the Melee community, but haven't heard any confirmations of sorts. As things are I'm still planning on hosting everything over at Big City Gamin' - Melee and all.

I'll go ahead and host Melee at our place, but BCG might still be offering Melee at their place still since it's been advertised it will be there. It will most likely be a free event with no cash prize (there will be a buy-in and cash prize at our place).
Actually, I'm thinking all events held at BCG will be a free event with whatever prize put up by the store since this is looking to be a smaller local event and I don't want newcomers to have to pay $10 for an 8-man event and not come back.
