okay I was prepared to give a step by step but then I realized that these are incredibly simple concepts

I'd just like to throw it out there that if we (homosexuals) had the rights that heterosexuals do when it comes to things like marriage, and if homosexuality wasn't looked down upon by so many, then there wouldn't be any of these pride events or parades.

If heterosexuals were being attacked because of the fact that they were straight in MANY cases, then sure, there would be pride events for heterosexuals as well. Except that isn't a problem for straight people, now is it?

These events give homosexuals the perfect chance to be themselves and learn about the LGBT community in the area, something a lot of the younger, closeted homosexuals need. I don't see heterosexuals having to hide their attraction to the opposite sex in public due to it being looked down upon.

Yeah I'm 100% for gay rights and stuff, everybody should have equal rights.

I don't "mind" gay people at all; I have a few friends who are. I'm mostly asex so I don't really like to watch anybody kissing/doing it/etc really, but I do have like romantic/platonic yaoi ships and stuff.

Everyone has their own opinions, guys cross-dressing weirds me out. Girls, I have no strong opinion. It's people having tolerance and being respectful in their actions and what they say that matters.
I'm strait but I guess gay sex, for gays/lesbians, is probably 'smoother going' at least at first because each person has the same 'equipment'. Their was an old 'Sienfield' episode where the topic came up but it can't be discussed here, lol. Going deeper would weird me out anyway.

I have no problems with homosexuality, but it gets fuzzy when you start discussing transgender people who have undergone sex change operations, concerning issues of which bathroom they should be allowed in and such. IMO the entire thing is based on the assumption that a human mind or 'soul' (give me a break) itself has a sex, and that male minds can be born in female bodies when the only thing making them male or female is sexual organs (what's the difference between a girl who acts like a tomboy and a male born in a woman's body?)

Here in Minny we just rejected an amendment that would have made marriage defined as being only between a man and a woman.
