KAB Unstoppable Joined: Apr 2008	Offensive smasher vs. Defensive Smasher I would have to say defensive smasher is really cheap cuz all they would do is roll and sheild grab but some how it actually works out cuz the offensive smasher always goes for it and gets punished for it. IMA FIRING MY LAZER

pixelbind Joined: Nov 2008	Offensive player makes the player feel pressured and stops him from utilizing an effective playing style. (hard to do since brawl is sorta new) So for now defensive player wins.

Kaizen Joined: Oct 2008	Then the offensive smasher isn't being offensive enough. He needs to offend the defensive smasher into getting overly defensive so he makes a mistake. The offensive player should say lewd comments about his opponent's mother.

Choknater Joined: Mar 2007	haha, "wining" whining is too good some of the best offensive smashers were ken and DSW defensive? i'd have to say hugs, drephen were really good. everyone else is pretty much a balanced player, with falco and fox mains leaning toward the more aggressive and slower, more spacy chars being more aggressive ahaha spacie vs spacy

Simpe things like attacking thru your opponent eliminate shield grab, also some characters like DK have things they can hit behind with such as bair out of shield. but yea if they decrease their movement just increase yours. If your opponent allows u to roam freely try some wavelands and grab them from behind or wait for their shield to get low and then attack and get a shield poke.
