When I do the MS ping test on my IPconfig/ALL...It says it's 98.
With 0% loss.

But when I do it on the test website.
It's says it's 37.

Is that supposed to happen?

So, the average is supposed to be about 17 miliseconds.....Mine was 2862. -_-' No wonder all my connections are red.

Edit: That first test was with Google. I tried it with speedtest.net and allisbrawl.com, and got 487 and 321. It seems inconsistent, and still nowhere near 17.

With that kind of ping, it sounds like you have satellite internet. Try just cleaning up your comp so things are faster and then do another test.

And 17 isn't average, it's the "ideal recommendation for brawl". That and lower highly increases your chances of having a good connection.

No, I have dial-up. I don't have too many options for internet where I live. I've Ccleaned it, and defragged it. I don't really think it'll get much better than the speed I already have.

I didn't mean 17 as the average for most people. I meant that when it show "Minimum speed", "Maximum Speed", and "Average speed" it should be about 17 on average speed for the best results, right?

Dial up? No wonder your connection sucks. Your ping shouldn't even matter, the data transfer is just too slow with dial up.

And yeah, 17 on average for best results.

I can't add 10
I just can't.
When adding to the IP when opening ports, I must add 2 different sets of numbers between 1 - 257.
And there are two slots where I MUST input numbers. When I set them to the router settings, it's fine, but when adding to the Wii, it would always format the numbers. It would take any non three digit number and put 0s behind it until it's 3 digits.

So, when I add 12.20 to xxx.xxx.2,
On the Wii, it would format to xxx.xxx.002.012---(the 20 wouldn't show), I'm gonna turn auto obtain on for now, but...help?

I'm a little confused by what you mean Skye, but I'll try and understand, and explain.

If you are trying to type in an ip that is 163.237.19.10, when you put it on the wii it's going to be 162.237.019.010. It's still the same number even if there are 0's to fill the gaps, it'll work fine. From your example, the reason the 20 wouldn't show would be because it only accepts up to 12 numbers, including the 0's. It looks like you are trying to put in 15.

Ah, but when why isn't it working?
I followed every step, and the issues always arise when I put in the IPs and such on my Wii.
