Is SSB64 the hardest?
It seems that each smash got easier,
Brawl: LOL HERE YOU GO CHARACTERS!!!!!!!!111
melee while kind of hard at first, Is petty simple to unlock everything.
But in 64 it used to take me FOREVER to unlock Luigi, Though while easier now, I still have thouble with some Traget ests?
So Your opinions?

Maybe you guys were a little too young to be "good" at Smash 64. I know that I was.

Unlocking things in any of the Smash games is a pretty easy task, it may take a day tops to unlock everything in all the Smash Bros. games. Smash 64 is probably the easiest to unlock all the characters in, if you having trouble with how to unlock anything just look in my secrets topic: http://allisbrawl.com/forum/topic.aspx?id=17110

SSB64 was very difficult for me the first time I ever played it, namely because one, I thought it was a cooperative adventure game, and two, I didn't realize there were buttons other than B.

SSB64 was very hard for me the first time I played it because I didn't know what to expect.  I also kept getting Game Over on the Easy Mode.

SSB64 was hard for me to unlock characters when i first got it. but i was also like 9. Now, it only takes a couple hours to unlock everything in SSB64 including item slelect.
Melee took some time to unlock everything and was challenging too.
Brawl was a joke but it took forever to get characters cause of Subspace.

A joke? I mean, unlocking characters is easy if you're playing Subspace on Easy mode, obviously! XD I've unlocked everything but a few trophy's that I haven't cleared the quota for yet(You know the 'beat 15 enemies in Cruel Brawl!' things).

As for SSB64 being hard, I think it is, but maybe that's just because it's hard to play with a keyboard and emulator as compared to a N64 controller. XD
Silence is gold, but ductape is silver.
If you play Advance Wars: Days of Ruin or Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, PM me so we can play!!

SSB64 in its own isn't really that hard. If it is, it's only because of that POS excuse of a N64 controller. c=

I feel that in the multiplayer aspects, Melee required the most technical skill and things like that making it the "hardest" there but that 64 had the hardest single player mode....or mabey I was just too young to really have an idea of what I was doing...

I thought 64 was one of the easiest ones.

Then again, I played Jigglypuff. :3

Brawl is the hardest because you have to play SSE and will have to resist the urge to slash your wrists from insufferable boredom. I agree that the N64 controller sucks for SSB, I have to break my thumb just to do a smash attack. Melee is easy though.

What's with all the hate for the N64 controller? Granted, I haven't played it in at least 7 years, but I remember loving it's design... Anyway, I thought SSB64 was easy because:

I thought the question marks on the character select screen were just fillers.

My friend told me that Yoshi was broken and, following that ignorant bliss, I owned Master Hand multiple times (yes, I got Jigglypuff, but I was to ignorant to think the other question marks were actual characters icon_razz)

I didn't know there was a 2 Player mode. Me and my brother tried to find out how to fight eachother on single player mode for FOREVERR.

And I just thought the characters were easy, since I... played everyone on easy.

IMO, though, Melee was the hardest in terms of getting all the characters - I spent hours trying to find out how to get up the long box thing in Young Link's target test without wall jumping - SHUT UP I WAS YOUNG.

There's no shame in that. I seriously struggled getting up there and then after 10 minutes i'd get up and die anyway, althought you don't have to play BtT at all to unlock any characters in melee... On my really old memory card my BtT total is like 14 minutes and I used to think that was near perfection. And have you played SSB on N64? Try to dash or smash attack. It actually hurts.
