memories of the NES and the very first appearance of Mario and Luigi (and no i don't mean Mario Bros Arcade, those were just Jumpman and his clone), the first time Link's series would become epic, and the beginning of the rivalry between Nintendo and Sega (even though we all know Mario will always be way better than that blue hedgehog, Sonic)
