A foolish opponent will try to gimp you in such scenerios. The hit gives you another up-b, so I at least try, hoping for a foolish mistake. Once, I tried to gimp my brother even though he wouldn't make it back, and his Up-B (Charizard's) hit me and I got stage spiked. Sad thing was that you could see him falling to his death in his helpless state as, "GAME," appeared. I had a huge percent lead as well. Dumbest thing I ever did in Brawl.

A couple of times, with Wolf (Wolf flash, side-b) and Marth (up-B) I spike or k.o. the edge hoggers and maybe recover. That's proof you should always try.

I fastfall after some of my recoverys, thinking "oh I can't make it back... I'm way too far away to grab the ledge", and it turns out I'm NOT too far and I can still recover. And I wind up killing myself when I COULD of recovered...but I didn't try =_=

There have been times where I get hit right after using Pit's Up+B, I attempt to use Up+B again, and I manage to pull off another recovery. This amazed me the first time, and has been happening a few more times with Pit (though it only seems to work when used right in the beginning of his Up+B).
