Circuit Events
Circuit Event #1:
Dimensions 3 (already occurred; results are on the page)
Circuit Event #2:
Mega Mass Madness - May 5th - Framingham, MA - TO: Dazwa
Circuit Event #3:
Hall of Gaming #10 - May 19th - Wallingford, CT - TO: Bizkit
Circuit Championship Event:
Dissention - June 23rd - Palmer, MA - TO: GTZ
The below lists players who have earned seeding points so far.
Total Seeding Points (3 events): 792
Total Seeding Points Awarded So Far: 0
Point Distribution (Per Circuit Event; Excluding Championship):
1st - 50 Points
2nd - 25 Points
3rd - 10 Points
4th - 6 Points
5th-7th - 1 Points
Notes: -The events will be seeded by seeding points gained from previous events.
-Max
points a player can win is 150. You only need 1 seeding point to make
pro bracket automatically for Dissention, so if you want to secure your
spot make sure you attend these events!
Dissention Qualifier Bracket
The qualifier bracket for Dissention will be ran for players who
have 0 seeding points. The full details are not yet fully ironed out,
but for now this is the projected point distribution for the qualifier
bracket:
1st - 75 Points
2nd - 50 Points
3rd - 25 Points
4th - 15 Points
5th - 10 Points
7th - 5 Points
9th - 3 Points
13th - 1 Points
You only need 1 seeding point to make it into pro
bracket. Note that if you have any seeding points from the other 3
events, you will automatically be put into pro bracket. No confirmation
if any special seeding points will be given out to national winning
players (Ally/M2K). I may have a special plan for OOR players who have
no 0 seeding points if there are more good OOR players than seeding
placings available. More details will be ironed out over the
months!
Rulesets
Unfortunately,
none of the events at this time are sharing the same ruleset. Here are
the rulesets for the remaining events:
MMM: Unity 2.1
HoG10: Unity 2.1
Dissention: Unity + MK Legal
Digital Saviors National Tournament in March 2013 (T.A.E.R- The End)
John from Digital Saviors and I have started working on a
national tournament in CT (Connecticut) in 2013. It would be hosted
here (March 15-17):
http://hiltongardeninn.hilton.com/en/gi/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=BDLWHGI.We
will of course have sponsors and will have streaming. (Not sure who
would stream though, most likely Digital Saviors and Chibo.)
The two main events would be brawl and melee.
Side events include, but aren't limited to, UMvC3, SF, Soul Calibur
5, and Brawl/Melee Crews. The ruleset is going to be Apex 2012 rules,
but with 1 MK per team and the Japanese scrooge rule. Registration
will be set up online, which should happen in a few months, and there
will be discounts/reimbursements for players that bring a TV and Wii.
(Digital Saviors would be able to provide 20-30 Wiis and TVs.)
What I need to know is the following:
1. Who is interested?
2. Who would like to volunteer?(We'd feed you.)
3. What ruleset would you guys want?
If you wish to volunteer, please PM me with a description of what you want to volunteer your time as.
As
far as I know, there are no nationals in 2013. This is a
HUUUUUGE opportunity for New England smash and for the rest of the
community as a whole. I would also like to have circuit qualifying
events for this tournament. More details to come on registration, rule
set and much MUCH, MUUUUCH MORE. Please show interest to make this
become a reality. Let's survive the apocalypse and make 2013 a great
year for smash!
