Welcome to the fifth Weekly Ladder Update! After 4 straight weeks at the top of the rankings Clouderz has finally lost his spot to last seasons Ladder Champion. Over 2,250 people have now joined the ladder, showing even more that the players who have kept steady at the top are the cream of the crop. The announcement of over $350 in prizes for the Fall Ladder, along with other privileges and badges for the top finishers, has heavily increased the competition for the top spots. The players at the top of the ladder will have to work hard to maintain their position among a solid set of challengers. Think Meta Knight is broken? Think he should be banned from tournaments or the ladder? Does your Meta Knight have an easy time winning matches? Then now is your chance to prove how smart you are with Meta Knight. Here is what to do!

1. Find AlphaZealot on the ladder in the match making room
   
2. Challenge him to a ranked ladder match
3. Ask to take the MK challenge
4. If he accepts, then you agree to use Meta Knight for the best of 3 match
5. AlphaZealot will not use Meta Knight!
6. Whether you win or lose the ranked match then you will be noted in the next weeks Weekly Ladder Update. If you win you will recieve both the Staff Slayer and Smart badges
