I could write some mushy introduction to this week’s Featured Tournaments about love and romance and Pit being cupid, but instead I’d rather talk about flesh-eating zombies.  Wouldn’t you agree? Well, my opinion of Valentine’s Day or zombies doesn’t matter, what matters is the fact that there will be some wicked tournaments this week!

Here at All is Brawl we love our tournaments! We love everything about them, from the intense hardcore matches to meeting new people! And to show our unconditional love we’ve decided to highlight some of these tournaments, ya’know spread the word and maybe get some more people interested in going to these tournaments.

Every week a few tournaments will be featured, coming from all over the world! They will include online tournaments as well as in person tournaments. So we’ve got almost everybody covered!

This Week In Person:

• Tj at War 3rd Strike:  Down south, below the borders, smash is thriving!  To prove it, there is going to be a huge tournament in Tijuana, Mexico!  All three smash games will be there, plus some TCV.   Soid, who’s hosted and organized many other tournaments, is going to be in charge of this one too.  It’s going to be a lot of fun; I’m also going to add that the legal drinking age in Mexico is significantly lower than here. It all happens on the 15th of February.  Tournament begins between 9 and 10am CST (I’m pretty sure, but my Spanish isn’t what it used to be).  All the prices are in pesos, so check out the thread if you are curious!  Let’s support our Mexican smashers by attending some of their tournaments!
  

• Smash Bros 64 & Smash Bros Brawl 1v1 NJ:   In Denville, New Jersey there will be a new great tournament.  This is Power Play Gaming’s first time hosting a tournament here on AiB, so hopefully more people will hear about it and attend.  The unique thing about this venue is that you don’t just sit in front of a TV and play; you become part of the whole experience.  There will be some comfy chairs that vibrate with all the sounds in the game, so it’s sort of like you’re on Space Mountain and playing smash.  It’s all going down on February 13th.  Tournament begins at 9pm, get there around 8:30pm for registration.   It’s $8 to enter for singles. There will be free soda and snacks for the players as well.  Come join this new tournament and have some fun.
  

This Week Online:

• Love Doubles:  Yeh, I broke down and featured a Valentine’s Day tournament.   This one is for all you romantics out there.  The theme for this tournament is couples.  For example, one player would be Mario and the other would play as Peach.  Isn’t that cute!?  Cecil is hosting and organizing this lovely tournament.  Of course, it’s all happening on the big day, February 14th.  Time to be there is 10am PST; tournament chat room still needs to be announced.  Come join in the cute and fun doubles tournament!  It would be ever more awesome if you were a couple in real life and playing a couple from the game.
  

• THE CAPTAIN FALCON WARS:  The Falcon Wars have begun!  Do you have what it takes to prove you are the best Falcon?  Can you show us your moves? This is a three part tournament, featuring singles, doubles, and free for all. They are all happening on the 13th of February.  The tournament starts at 4pm CST!  Captain X Randy is the brains behind this brilliant Captain Falcon only tournament.  This is for a ll you players who love Falcon.  The results of this will be able to tell us, who is the manliest player in all of brawl, you got this.
