As
you all know, the Spring Ladder ended last week, and now everyone is
anticipating the start of the Spring Ladder Playoffs. The brackets are
made, and the first round matchups are decided. All that’s left is for
us to sit back and watch some great matches. Without further ado, I
present you your Spring Ladder Playoffs information.
Since
Neal
is an amazing programmer, he has set us up with brackets that can be
updated as we go, and can be viewed online. This also saves me the
trouble of going through and typing out all the matchups, which is
nice. You can view all the matches for both events
here. The final standings for the regular season of both
singles and
doubles are also now available.
Now for some specifics:
The
Spring Doubles Ladder Playoffs will begin this Thursday, August 6, at about 10
PM EDT (that’s 7 PM for those of you on the West Coast!) in Tournament
Chat 3. If your team has a match, and you cannot make it at this time,
it is your responsibility to reschedule ahead of time with your
opponents! If you simply don’t show up, you will be disqualified! All
make-up and rescheduled matches must be completed by midnight on
Monday, August 10. You must notify me in advance,
via PM from
both teams, with the rescheduled time, if your match is being made-up. Also
PM me as soon as you complete your match, so we can keep everything running smoothly.
AlphaZealot,
who will be in charge of the Singles Ladder Playoffs, has asked me to
communicate the following. The first round of singles will begin on
August 10th, at 10PM EDT (7PM on the West Coast). He will follow up
this article with more specific information as the date gets closer.
EDIT (Aug 6, 2009): Information regarding the Singles Ladder Playoffs will be found in Slot 3 and will be updated constantly. Please view this information
